I'm so lucky to get it on sale! Nice in depth and detailed review. Definitely one of my favorite bags rn! Kudos to your channel. I'm now a subscriber. ❤
Great video. I love how it functions similarly to a backpack, but looks quite professional when used as a tote bag. Are there any good alternatives that has a similar design tho? I don't like both color options, and it's quite pricey.
Thank you! I’m not too sure actually, this is a first of its kind for a 2 in 1 bag. I haven’t seen much that do both. It’s usually either just tote or a bag. If that’s pricey then Amazon might have something that’s within budget that does the 2 functions that’s similar. I know totes alone are usually more expensive that’s why I actually thought the uniqlo one was good value and price 👍🏻
Hey man, great video! do you have the product code for the bag you're reviewing? there's 2 versions up on the uniqlo site rn, I'm guessing the higher product code is the newest version
@DanielLeeANDgary noo the first video I made is the 1st version which I think is not sold anymore. The one we are commenting on now is the newest one with the laptop sleeve/pocket. I got v.1 first and then after like a few months, v.2 released. The differences and change is minimal to be honest but good bag tbh
May I know what's the exact size of this one? because I want to bring this bag to a concert and it will be a long travel... they said I cannot bring rucksacks or backpack larger than 40 x 35 x 19cm... so I wanted to know. Please?
It’s about 41x42x14cm give or take. Now that’s flat, so if you want a possible chance of it passing through, just don’t fill it up to the max capacity and allow room to flex and bend it, if you ever are tested in a some sort of sizer
@pynckx101 no problem, if it’s Ryanair or easy jet sizer then yeah I think you shouldn’t have a problem, I took a backpack technically that’s bigger than their sizer, I didn’t have it fully stuffed tho and it managed to fit in the easy jet sizer. She was ready with that payment terminal in hand hahaha
Width(Top): 41cm, Width(Bottom): 31cm, Height: 41cm, Depth: 18cm, Handle Length: ~61cm, Shoulder Strap Length: ~88cm 23L capacity I think it may be sold out now online, but maybe you can get lucky and find it in stores 😃
Just usually lay it flat inside, since mines a Yeti bottle it’s pretty sealed so no spill as of yet 🤞🏻 I also switch between the LARQ bottle too that has a clip so it can be clipped on carrying handles, hope it helps 👍🏻
@@WilliamChuong i was reading japanese reviews saying if you wear it like a backpack and touch the straps that it would lengthen/loosen randomly. is that really an issue in your exp? And how uncomfortable would it be to lug around a 10 lb laptop and hdd. I have a standard amazon laptop bag and was looking for a more stylish replacement. thx
@@Michael20 I think with those items it could be quite heavy for this bag, and you may Probaly want something with more protection if you’re carrying those. Cause that’s double the weight of a MacBook Pro 16”. In regards to the straps becoming loose, I personally haven’t had any issues with the straps at all to be honest
Wouldn’t say it’s waterproof, I’d say it can take some rain damage but not too much, it does have a water repellent exterior. Some light rain here and there should be fine.
For laptop is fine however if you have a lot of notebooks too then it may be too heavy for this bag as it does not have enough support on the bag’s structure.
The strap can be shortened yeah but still depends on your height because the bag is kinda long so if you’re like me 5ft 7 then the bag may be grazing the ground 🤭 there is a bit of padding at the bottom, not entirely a lot tho
I own the V1 manifesting on its durability, carrying laptop everyday 😮💨 personally love the V1, though there is no laptop slot. no bottom compartment is such a dealbreaker for me so thats why 😂
Haha I had that issue too 😂 definitely v1 was not ideal for the laptop but sometimes you gotta fire it in there hoping it all goes well 🤣 atleast I’m not the first person to think that
Hmm, depends on your everyday carry and set up. Personally for me the utility 2 in 1 bag is better for me cause I need something light for my essentials and still has just a bit extra room space for stuff that I might purchase from stores when I’m out. I don’t use it for laptop 💻 really as I have a separate bag for that with more protection. Hope this helps you 👍🏻
But actually honestly, the price difference isn’t much for them both. If you carry alot daily, maybe the backpack is better but if you carry a few things the utility bag may be better
This is currently on sale now: if those are interested (UK link) : www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/two-way-utility-bag-459777.html

I’m actually surprised that helped you out 🤭 I just updated the link yesterday lol
Another great video! The upgrades for version 2 is great, I wish they kept the shoe compartment from version 1
Thanks man! I really appreciate it ☺️
Hi, hows the durability of this bag?
So far so good 👍🏻 no issues at all if you take care of it
@@WilliamChuong Thanks for ur response, do u think it can handle my 15.6 laptop?
@@Summer-vu5kwyeah the MacBook 16” Pro fit perfectly fine so I assume it should fit a 15.6inch laptop 👍🏻

@@WilliamChuongyeah it's really hard to find one. I would miss the side pouches tho. Wonder if there are strap-ons that does the same thing.
@@hazel.91 Probaly better getting one of those light and foldable backpacks, they do offer bottle holders too while still being compact and portable

This is product code #459777
Yeah the newest one is the one with a laptop sleeve / pocket 👍🏻
@@WilliamChuong Thanks, is #468504 the newer version you mentioned at the start of video? Literally can't tell from the pictures on uniqlos site lol

Is the main compartment zipper water proof? Is it good enough to withstand rain in the uk?

Do you know how many grams it weighs?
I don’t but it’s so light, doesn’t even weigh much honestly
Would you like to use it as a tote bag or bagpack?
I use it as backpack majority of the times 👍🏻 tote bag is ok, but I’m not the biggest fan so using them unless it’s for quick access
