I started dating a beautiful lady, never had the courage to ask her to be my girlfriend, then we stopped talking like for 4 or 5 years, then she told me she had a boyfriend and a long-short story we stopped talking again, a couple of years later we talked again, both heartbroken and then a few months later we started dating, but this time I was not going to let her go....... and here we are 10 years later.... married and with 2 beautiful kids........ and still loving this woman like the first time.

I’m sorry it took you so long to find it. Next time do what I did. I looked up Aston Kutchers filmography (Amanda Pete would also work) and then I quickly found the name of the movie “A lot Like Love” which I then looked up on Wikipedia which list all the songs on the movie soundtrack. The Whole thing took about 60 seconds. Then its just a matter of finding it on UA-cam which takes a few seconds.

I heard this song every day at the retail store I used to work at, and loved it so much! Finally was able to find a speaker near enough for my phone to Shazam it (this was 2015, Shazam was everything), found it on UA-cam, and binge-listened. Still not tired of it! I played it for my now husband when we were discussing potential wedding songs, and I fought valiantly for it, but his response was "Meh, it's ok." Oh well. I can still binge-listen.

I am glad I went out to the theatre to see the movie 'A Lot like Love' when it came out in summer of 2005 (i lived outside the U.S; it came out in North american theatres around april 2005)
I watched it that same year in Spain, with my eldest sister (who probably had a crush on Ashton hahaha 😍😍). I was twelve back then and I still keep such beautiful memories!!! Just watched it yesterday with my husband... Magical!!!!!

I remember seeing Aqualung in a church in Brighton in 2004, I took a woman who I would do absolutely anything for. Beautiful setting with candles lit, she told me if Brighter Than Sunshine played, she would cry happy tears. The first note played and she squeezed my hand. I wish I could have frozen time at that exact moment as life was as good as it got right then. We're still in touch but it wasn't meant to be.

Heard this song back in the 2000’s when A lot Like Love came out and became an instant favorite movie( criminally underrated btw) and suddenly I’m watching Schitt’s Creek and again this song came around. All the memories and feelings this song made me feel back then are still alive at this instant. That feeling of not knowing if you’ll ever meet a person who will make you feel brighter than sunshine. 💕

This reminds me of the days of VH1; when Aqualung and Jack Johnson would grace us with nice tunes right before the turn of terrible, ultra-mainstream music we’re now stuck with today. Perhaps it just reminds me of a simpler time in life as a teenager.
