Thanks guys, I really enjoyed that. I would love to lead that route. I've been winter climbing in Scotland for 8 years but rarely managed a trip that coincided with good conditions. I'm hoping for a better season next year.
As a NH resident, I have a really good feeling about this winter. The trees have started changing colors and showing foliage about 4 weeks before they normally do. I'm taking that as a sign of a colder winter. This might be time to go for a trip!
Was using it to keep the tools and crampons on my bag on the approach, and it seemed easier to leave it wrapped on then having to dig around for it. There's probably a better solution out there, but hey it works
Nice video - I try to solo Pinnacle most years on Xmas night, and was there on Jan 1 after the warm spell and it was too thin for my liking. Would you mind sharing your GoPro settings? Much higher quality than mine, but I'm often in lower light. Also, was that a chest mount you were climbing with? Cheers.
great video, good climb, love when youtube recommends smaller channels with good content
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Rad!! This is on our list of "step-ups," hopefully in the next 1-2 years (pretty novice still!) Awesome job!
Awesome dude! Yeah we're about 3 years into it. Definitely something to take slow and steady
I did this climb on bluebird April 15th about 20 years ago. I'll never forget it.
Looks like you guys had a great time!
Thanks! It was a good day out! Big fan of your stuff too! Haha

Good job guys!!
Why the Voile strap wrapped around your ice tool shaft?
