Oh yeah, if anyone has any other things they want going over, I may do a follow up video so please drop a reply to this comment and i'll see what I can do!
Awesome video Foxhunt! I'd be really interested in a deeper dive on the drop, specifically arrangement of elements. I always struggle knowing where to put the different basses in the drop to make it sound rhythmic
Nice tut man. Its interesting how sometimes even just an obvious thing like 'theres usually an impact at the start of the phrase' can completely unlock a genre haha
Best thing I've seen in my subscription feed for a very long time, 53 minutes, I'm just so happy the video is so long. I'll let you know what I think about it
Dude this is a great tutorial Foxhunt. I've always loved complextro. I definitely want to make it, but just never knew where to start. Your tutorial has helped me out. Thanks Foxhunt!
It's true that it sounds really like cYsmix ^^ Maybe because of the melody that sounds a bit baroque as cYsmix (and also our fellow foxhunt) like to use !
Been wanting to make complextro stuff later on once I get a better understanding of How FL Studio works. Will definitely be saving this video for future reference ^^
(🥭FL STUDIO) *How to make House sidechain in Fruity Love Philter:* • Load up default patch • Turn on HQ envelopes (less clicking) • Turn off oversampling (saves CPU) • Set Filter type to OFF • Enable Tempo on Vol Envelope • Make a bar long LFO curve • Make sure you set the start and endpoints to loop your LFO TIP: If you want to move off-grid, you can always switch off the green magnet button on the bottom-right of the grid.
@@DeadPossSociety Thank you for answering so quickly, the last I already own (I really like it) and yeah, now that you mention it, the second one is there alright, I stopped when I didn't find the first. I'd love a release, really like the sound of it ^^
@@DeadPossSociety please go a bit deep on sound design, how we can make our complextro track stand out, and for me the problem is my 1st sound in the drop doesn't resonate (matches) with the second sound which makes the track just the collection of random noises and how to make our drop more energetic

2:02 more like cYsmix style. VR sounds more 8-bit-ish with his complextro *I think*. Nice tutorial btw, love your music!
I guess, it's the closest thing I had with the more complex bass sound design and such.

this is literally cysmix's moonlight sonata.... but its sounds good anyway lol
