  • Welcome back everyone!
    In todays video I show you all my new "medium sized" rack system for crested geckos! I'll show you how to put it together as well as show some things I did to make it work for my needs. I like these a lot better than my old tub style tank for my medium geckos and I think you will too! If you breed crested geckos or are raising up some small ones, this video is for you!
    I hope you enjoy!
    If you're new, I suggest you check out some of my other videos/playlists and shorts that I have on my channel. If you like these animals, then don't forget to like and subscribe and share with friends! Also don't forget to hit that notification bell so you'll be notified every single time I post! It truly helps the channel a ton and I love hearing from you so make sure you leave a comment or ask any questions you may have!

      As a breeder I understand the need to racks/tubs. But as a owner I believe its our job to recreate the animals natural environment as much as possible. I’m glad that the community is shifting toward this standard of care. And this is coming from someone who kept snakes in tubs for 12 years.

    • @tmreptile
      @tmreptile  7 місяців тому +4

    • @venxm243
      @venxm243 4 місяці тому +1

      Cresties specifically don’t really need specific lighting. And heat lights/mats aren’t recommended either since they can succumb to heat stroke if temps get too high. Not to mention they stick to walls/tops/sides. So heat lights could burn their feet. Just as the og creator said. Misting twice a day is enough. Plus. Think about quarantine tanks with reptiles on paper towels. It’s the same premise.

      Nope, these are only for grow outs! I tried to explain it in the video but maybe I did a poor job. If you want to see all the styles of tanks I use I made a video on it

      @tmreptile are you able to provide links of where to purchase for the ones you use? I didn't see the links in either video and it would be extremely helpful. I use similar ones, but the quality on mine are garbage.
