How's it going folks, I absolutely love these new enclosures! Being able to have front opening grow out set ups is definitely a game changer! Next step is new adult breeder enclosures and then finally new baby enclosures!
Getting the shoe boxes with the magnetic closing doors is awesome. One way to seal the hole on these though is hot gluing screen mesh over it. I wish they made the boxes in a big size. That would really be a game changer. A idea I have is if enough people contact sterilite and let them know how valuable their products are to reptile keepers, maybe we can get them to make front opening bins in various sizes.
Where are you finding these. And I literally emailed sterilite about 6 months ago explaining how we use them and how great hubandry we have for our animals thanks to their containers and how front opening would be so useful as well as other users the front opening would open up.
I have some of these and planned to use them similarly , but I bought a screen patch kit to put over the holes to keep ventilation and prevent feeder insect escape.
I love this enclosure idea for a recovering gecko. Thank you for bringing them to my attention. Will be much easier to moniter an ill or injured geckos recovery easily. My reps are only our beloved pets and they help to give me motivation to get up on those days that getting up to deal with anything is hard to do. But must be done to take care of them as they rely on me.
I still love bins but I am small time and only have a few reptiles. I am about to splurge on a PVC for my Ball Python. Very cool info, love seeing more and more enclosure options.
Wally over at Supreme Gecko just did a video on these. Seems like they’d be pretty good to use. Time will tell! He struggled a little putting them together also. 😂
I've actually had them for a min now. Used to use them as display set ups for shows but upgraded them and started using these for the grow outs instead. Now I had more grow outs and figured these have been working well so let's get more 😂
Do you plan to keep the cresties and cave geckos in these enclosures indefinitely? Can they live in those enclosures for a long time? I'm very interested in getting one.
Maybe convenient, but these are just far too small. So are your original bins. These would only be suitable for hatchlings. Breeder or not, you should still provide your animals with adequate space.

Came here for the reptiles, subscribed because of your great personality. 😀
Do you have a link to these?
Please do a follow up video on this. Wife wanted to use these a couple years ago and I was hesitant due to the hole and worried about warping.
Where did you get these enclosure. I'm using interested in trying them out
Ive seen these on amazon, think they come in different sizes, so could possibly use for both baby and grow outs.

Crested Gecko: Jump first, think after.... by far my favorites

Hello, whats the link for these?
I absolutely love these!!!!!! They are perfect!
What types of hydrometer would be good for this?
oh sweet! I'd been eyeing these things too, so it's great to know that they work well!
Now how would this handle heating? Or is your reptile room warm enough for it to not really matter?
they are probably in a control heated room
Crested geckos don't need any special heating. Just room temperature

They're coming. Big stuff happening behind the scenes
My favourite thing about crested gecko youtubers is when they add the 'boing!' sound everytime they jump!
Thank you for appreciating it. I probably spent 40min adding a boing to every little jump they do 😂
How do you handle the place where you opens hole? I just worry about little ones escaping or is it just waiting to a certain size
😂😂ur really funny and entertaining- thanks

How about some Rock & Roll/Heavy Metal Gecko gear?
You sound so nice in the AD 😂
Thanks it's radio voice effect 😂
I’ve bought a load of these in uk for my babies why don’t u stand them vertical like the other ones was just observation and was wondering ?
I don't like the amount of floor space it leaves them with, plus stacking vertically doesn't work well unfortunately.
@mattap-hp5ug where in the UK did you get these, I'm in the uk
Ol dakotah blue exotics
😎😎😎
how often should i feed my baby crestie
I provide fresh food for them every other day

No they cannot live in these forever. These would only be suitable for the first month of their lives, maximum.
Let’s get bimpson number one
I just bought 3 baby crested geckos and I use bins I bought at home depot
That's where I usually get mine, or Walmart
I will never get away from tubs because I don’t do crested geckos I do leopard geckos
Fair, Im just tired of them 😅

I have been using these for almost a year now and i love it!!!

@@bobbiwallace662 Amazon has lots of options. I also found some at local retail stores!
Me trying to buy a house in 2023. Thank you for shaming me on my ignorance in 2018. XD

Lol so I used these for my baby leopard geckos until 1 escaped .
💜💚🥰💚💜
😂
They look cheap for what you paid.
Very cool idea for a video. They look pretty good too. The tubs looked a little dirty/poor.
Agreed. They're great for the guys starting out, but Im ready to upgrade to the next level.
