Just another tie between Mario and Zelda, the flute in Mario 3 plays the same melody in Zelda 1. (Also it came from Zelda first - 1986, whereas this game is from 1988)

Dude wow, I never noticed that either haha. The composer, I believe, said that the title theme gave him the most trouble when revising & constructing songs for this game.
