I got mine from South Africa for R20 or £1 I'm not sure what it's like for dollars but I really got it for a steel and it works perfectly even came with the leather case
I have the minister 3 and its a nice camera to use, sadly I've not been happy with the images I've taken on it as I think the focus is off, tbf I've only used kodak gold with it and I always struggle to get a sharp scan with my flatbed
Hey rowan it is a cool video and great images. I recently found this camera on ebay, but i am not really sure if this camera still working or not, since i am new to film photography. Can you explain what does: "Film winding works and shutter clicks BUT the leafs DON'T open" mean? Thanks.
Just bought a Yashica M II: I literally fell in love with the output you showed Which rolls is it possible to use, apart from the Colorplus 200? I'm having some troubles with finding them
I'm wondering the same. The brand is my namesake, and when I asked my mom she simply said "It's a good camera." I found my Minister II in a random market. These photos are amazing!
Didn't like it. The impossibly small numbers on the top plate readout, combined with shutter button which is very easy to accidentally take a shot killed this camera for me. Just an awful camera. Shame as the build feels superb.
Great shots! I have the Yashica Minister D, I bought it for $20 Canadian and it by far my fave camera to shoot with!

Awesome video dude! I have a Yashica Minister D that I like to shoot for fun sometimes! The lens is surprisingly nice
Great photos from your Minister III. I have a Minister D which also takes great photos.
wow that camera is nice!
Colours in those photos are insane!
Thanks dude, honestly all the film as those are straight from the scanner no edits beside straightening crops.
@@rowanpatrick_ scanning is editing dude ;)
There are no unedited film photos. None. And that does not take away from their value though ^^
This was a really well edited video and great subject matter (ie, vintage camera vibes).
Thanks for watching 🤟
Could you please do more with this this camera I have the same one and I'm also South African and I love this video
Id love to create more with this camera but unfortunately it was stolen a while back.
Picked one up for 30 bucks and the images are super nice.
3:44 is a really powerful photograph.
Thanks man, it is one of my favorites too
Really great video! You got a new subscriber! I just bought a Yashica Minister D for $10 and its in basically brand new condition! Cheers!
love your videos, keep making more

Today postman delivered Yashica Minister III. In perfect, working condition for £3.10 + shipping on Ebay. Can't wait to start shooting some film
Almach99 Enjoy it man, it’s a lovely little camera
I got the Minister III about 3 weeks ago, on my third roll through it, so far enjoying it, but also struggling to get use to rangefinder shooting

Raiza Azkaril that means the lens is faulty so I would advise not to buy it
@@rowanpatrick_ thanks for the advise
Dope vlog bro! Will be doing some adventure vlogs soon so we should definitely collab
Nathan Lunda indeed bro, definitely making more vlogs and missions this year.

I would say play with Kodak gold and also fujifilm superia 200
Hi! Do you use the LSV plate on top or your own light meter?
Hi.. I use the LSV plate. Occasionally I will use a light meter app on my iPhone to confirm the settings are within a correct exposure.
Great shots! Just picked up a yashica minister d that im pshyced to shoot!
m p have a blast with it man.
These are fire my guy. What settings did u use? Photos are super crisp and colourful
