God man I think as far as overhaul to the DS3 world and enemies, Archthrones is my top pick, just off of what has been shown so far, the clever use of assets from demon souls, DS1,2, 3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring and the custom work is nothing short of spectacular. I'm curious about the changes to player mechanics, too. They don't seem very far off from keeping the familiar vanilla feel, which is good. I know mods like Champion's Ashes made very impressive improvements on the player mechanics while keeping that familiar feeling, things like just frames, timed blocks, powerstancing, and moveset improvements. I guess in my head, the perfect souls experience is a combination of the two mods 😅, Archthrones for it's beautiful and refreshing world overhaul and hands down best custom enemy creation and asset implementation I've seen in DS3, and Champ's Ashes for it's meticulous player/gameplay mechanics overhaul, and what I would consider to be the best implementation of Bloodborne trick weapons into Darksouls that I have ever seen The talent of the modders/designers is truly awe inspiring

Before this comes out try the Convergence mod. That is just so good it makes other mods like amateur works except Archthrones of course. Not only new enemies, enemy placements and bosses but completely new spell systems, weapons and they even have new routes. For example there is a completely new path in Irithyll on rooftops
