I've been a fan since I heard Debut when I was 13....I'm 33 now lol and still love her just as much if not more....anyone here in 2018?

I found her when the Sugarcubes were still a thing and MTV still played music, on 120 Minutes. Debut followed the next year and I've been listining ever since.

So don't listen to it, then. No need to comnent on it, because you aren't going to change anyone else's tastes. Personally, I think 98% of the mass-marketed corporate shit on the radio is trash, but you know what I do? I turn it off. I _don't_ go calling the station to tell them their music is trash.
Bjork has had a carreer that now spans over 3 decades. Not many artists can say that. Reality trumps your impotent opinion.
How has the listening experience changed?
I'm a violinist who loves Björk music, and now that I'm learning Max Bruch Violin Concerto in G minor I found that the chorus of Hyperballad has so much similarity with the climax of the slow part in the first movement of Bruch concerto. Besides, the two songs are in the same key 🤯

I was DJing when this came out. This was my fav song to play in clubs by her, and my fav Bjork song. Love her!

The beauty of this song was truly unique and incomparable, the magnificence and the aesthetic of the lyric writing was indescribable wonderful. The precious thoughts in the song strongly influencing the all kinds of the passionate music workers and even the passionate modern art lovers, it still provides the world so much inspiration and so much happiness on listening or experiencing music or as the ear candy moments and surprising as the first time and even so much lovely impressions of Iceland in it by the one of the Björk's music work as this. May hope the music works of Björk always be blessed and well cherished in the future.

Hace años que la conozco pero no era tan adepto a su musica pero de verdad que esta canción entre otras que tiene es una verdadera obra, es perfecta. Ella es una gran artista, cantante, compositora y lo que quieran pero más que nada una genio adelantada a su época y de la últimas que quedan. Cuesta creer que esta música sea de la década de los 90s. 30 años ya.

Znalazłem to przypadkiem na filmie z testem jednego sprzętu i jestem pod wrażeniem. Super utwór a szczególnie druga połowa ta szybsza że tak powiem. A jeszcze bardziej jestem w szoku że taki utwór powstał w 1995 roku. To wyprzedza swoje czasy 20 lat. Puścić w radiu i powiedzieć że nowość 2021 i było by hitem jak 26 lat temu

I think its about a relationship that , on the surface, perfect... but she does not love him...so she stands on the edge to try to make herself love him and be grateful for what she has... rather than throw herself off onto the unsafe and unknown... but inner self is screaming out. Also the bit where it repeats the line 'safe up here' it also sound like 'say you love him'.....
I've always thought this was about a depressed person who Is in a loving and good relationship, but tries to hide their sadness away when the loved one Is around so they won't ruin precious moments, and letting it all go when they're in private, So they can feel happier and gratefull to be safe around them
