- This video is a walk through of all the books you will need to pass the Florida air conditioning A or B exam. I also give you a price point of what I paid compared to the actual price, and where to purchase these books.
hey man is there anyway i can get in touch with you again i have a couple questions
Can you give me advise on transferring my Virginia mechanical/ gas class B contractor's license to Florida?
That’s a good one. I’m actually looking in to this now. I know State of Florida Contractors license are accepted by many states, but Florida only accepts a few. But I know most countries will accept your state license to work in the country apply in. So if you can’t get a state license, do it county to county.
I live in Virginia but trying to move to Florida. I contacted a DMACtech and they replied with the costs and the classes schedule. My concern about them if they are good schools or else.
Hassan Aljazaeri are you referring to the Contractor’s exam prep classes? If so I did not take one of those courses, but I do know a few people that did and said they’re pretty helpful. It is a very long test, and just having a idea of the type of question you will be asked is a huge asset.
Up and Coming HVAC Johnnie thanks; I will be talking the h v a c classes
@@hassanaljazaeri5436 hey did you ever take the hvac classes and if so do you know a good school to go to that is worth the money. In south Florida broward county. Thanks.
It’s 2021 now, does it matter that these books are outdated? Which ones would that matter?
Reminds me of the professional engineering exam where they let you bring in all the books you can carry.
Hat off to you for taking that exam!!! I heard it’s ridiculous.
HVAC Johnnie! Would I be able to purchase all of those books from you?? Please!
Disregard my other comment because I found the video here... good stuff my man!
Thanks for the support. I am pleased that I could help.
And make sure you get the 2017 version of the Florida’s contractor’s Manual. There is a lot of changes made from that version I showed, and it ended up costed me on the test.
Do they allow you to have your phones in the class
🤣🤣🤣I wish they did!
Bro I'm so happy for you man. Keep it going!!! Also how long where you in the field before getting license??
Thanks Bro. And so far as the field experience, I’m going to be honest, I had a hard time finding a job with a company, (I’m a big guy, and that played a part, I guess?) so I picked up books and watched videos, and worked with a guy I know for free, but he paid me anyway. Long story short, not long at all, I learn fast, and I’m will to keep learning. That’s the 🔑. You can’t be afraid of not knowing something, because you will never start. Trust me, I did want a lot of people said could not be done!😉
@@hvacjohnnie Yah bro, I know what you mean those Attics can get hectic!!! Trust, I know when you got size. I'm ready myself to jump on out there, I got to clear up some debt first. Need that steady income lol☺️, that's my wonder about jumping out there, is the pay pretty steady enough to live on??
Update. You test yet?
fromflorida yes I did. I’m going to post a video update in a few days from now
can you have your books during the test?
Yes you can, but it is kind of offset due to the fact that there are so many books and the Questions are ridiculous. Not the mention the small amount of space you have to work in. So Yeah, you can bring your books in, and trust me you are going to need them

How about your sale me your books? Lol
Trumaine Pearson 😂 I still need them, that test is Harder than catching a keeper Snook with the Game Warden breathing down your neck, at 3 p.m while fishing on State Private Property....Yeah that’s a long Shot, maybe a little less than that.
