- Hi Guys! Thanks for taking the time to watch my video. I thought it might be helpful to see how the new Coach retail denim compares to the Coach Outlet denim. It is a little different. After I finished filming I compared the two bags a little more and ultimately decided that the Marlie is more for me.

I like them both, but I just really love the top handle on the Marley. The Tabby is gorgeous as well, both are great pieces. The gold logo on the Marley is gorgeous. You’re like me, I review my purchases several times before and sometimes after I choose my purchases. Great video! TFS🌺

Both bags are very nice! I like the Marley with the vachetta accents and the leather accents. I do like the light denim of the tabby and the way the tag looks on the side because it’s the vachetta. The tabby does look very nice on you. I agree that the cost needs to be less because you are getting just a fabric bag throughout with a leather strap. The tabby looks to be a softer bag and that’s nice. Wow tough choice. I’m sure you will make the right decision. If you do return it, maybe it will go on sale later and you can repurchase perhaps a fourth of July sale?Loved the comparison! TFS!! Hope you have a great weekend. Take care!

Hi Ivana! I like the Marlie. The first time I saw this style was on your channel. After you so kindly filmed a request video, I purchased one. It's such a cute bag! Like you, I prefer crossbody bags to be slim, and sit close to the body. I feel the same as you do about expensive handbag purchases. Resisting can be challenging. The denim boutique soft Tabby is really cute, and I love the brighter color, but one thing that would worry me is getting stains on the bag that I might not be able to clean; getting caught in a rainstorm, a splash of coffee, and so on. Life happens. I'd probably prefer a denim fabrication for $200 or less. Yeah, some will say you can spray or treat the fabric for some protection, but I'm not a fan of chemicals. I think you made a good decision, and hey, if I see it go on sale, I'm going to message you! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Much love!

Both bags are gorgeous. I was recently debating which of the denim bags to order and it was between the retail soft tabby and a outlet bag. The outlet bag won. It's on its way and I am excited to see how it is. So far I only had very good experiences regarding wear and tear with outlet bags from coach so I def understand where you are coming from. Great comparison. I love the boutique denim. I hope you’re able to pick up a soft tabby on sale one day. Department stores have sales every now and again and have reward programs where you can earn points toward purchasing. I wish I had your resolve. TFS🌷

I was surprised to see that the Soft Tabby in Demin doesn't have the suede inside like my Soft Tabby in Wine has. That is one of my favorite parts about this style of bag. Thanks for the comparison and I hope you find something you feel more comfortable buying.
Hi Laurie, yes I discovered that too when I returned it. I did t realize the other models of this bag had suede lining, even the other signature fabric one. Hi, new Subbie here. I saw a comment you made on "Suz What's" video. I mentioned that I love your UA-cam name. I'll have to catch up on your videos. I didn't see any more current than this one:) I just purchased the Coach denim field tote 22 (again). I returned the first time because I didn't like the red strap, but I love the bag so I waited a bit and it went on sale about 3 weeks ago on the Coach site. $100 less. I'm a huge fan of denim bags.

What was the actual cost of the soft tabby? I’ve watched both videos and you’ve yet to say what the cost actually was. You just repeatedly mention that “the cost” was not justifiable. 🤷🏽♀️Was that detail omitted intentionally?
It retails for $395 US.
