I have this watch. Have had it for about 8 months. Love the glide lock system. Highly recommend putting lock tight on the screws. I had one fall out the other day and the watch fell on the concrete damaging the Chrystal. However I contacted bliger and they are sending me a new clasp and screws as well as a new Chrystal. They were good to deal with
Just got this new watch today. Here are my initial impressions with my first exposure to BLIGER. Packaging is minimal but adequate. Overall quality is excellent. Mine is supposed to have the Seiko nh35 movement. My time grapher shows the correct bpm, next to no beat error and predicts +10 for accuracy face up. These time grapher numbers are in line with my San Martin 6200 with a nh35 and it has turned out to be one of my more accurate pieces. The bracelet was quite easy to adjust. The glide lock clasp is a little stiff but appears to work as designed. Luke appears to be quite bright. Overal my first impression is 👍
Nice review. A real Explorer eh? Would love to see that. I’ll definitely want to come over and feel that one on the wrist for sure. Great detailed review of the Bliger. Minus the clasp and lume, it appears to be a good and solid watch.
SoCal Watch Reviews Thanks for the kind words man! Appreciate your support! I’m not personally a fan of homage watches in general but I know they are very popular with a lot of people!
Hey man! Lucky for you I’ve still got this watch kicking around! I measured it best I could from each edge of the crystal (which protrudes slightly from the case) I measured 31.5mm. Not sure how precise that is but hope that helps!
@@TheTownWatch Thanks, Josh! I saw that your vid was uploaded 3 months ago, so I did expect that this watch was gone. But you know the adage: you don’t know unless you ask! 👍 Thanks again for taking the time to measure. Super helpful! Take care, man!
love this watch...i got the sterile dial because its the kind of dial, IMHO, that just needs to be uncluttered and stand on its own. To me, the Explorer is the one watch i could own if it came down to just one...it is so versatile and beautiful. Also, you can get these for ~$60 all day on aliexpress...which is great
Thanks for glad you are enjoying yours! Stay tuned for a comparison with this watch and a genuine Rolex Explorer! You’ll want to subscribe if you’re not already so you don’t miss it!
Nice review! I just subbed. Btw, Phylida makes a similar looking Explorer homage with one important difference: it has 100 meters water resistance. Prices on AliExpress are around $75-$85 for the version with the Miyota 8000 series movement. The version with the Chinese Seagull DG2813 movement is about $20-$25 cheaper, but not worth it in my opinion. Every watchmaker can fix a Miyota. If the DG2813 breaks down, you are out of luck... Edit: I just noticed that Phylida sells an Air King homage for $79 (DG2813 movement) and $93 (Miyota 8215 movement). Are you going to review one of those? :)
I think this might be the best looking sub $100 Explorer homage. I've been looking for one so I might go ahead and pull the trigger on a Bliger. I only wish it was 36mm though, as a 36mm Rolex Explorer is my (unobtainable) grail watch. Great review Josh, you presented the watch very well 👌🏻
My Affordable Watch Collection Appreciate it Aviv! Thanks for the support! I hope you can obtain that I obtainable grail one day! I’m sure you will! Happy to see the success of your channel! Why can’t Seiko and Citizen add some of the features from this and add it to their watch’s without scalping us for it. These Chinese watches (including some micro brands) are filling the market as especially Seiko move their prices north.
Hello - decent review mate! I'm interested in this watch, however the online reviews have said that the bracelet clasp is very difficult to open and gets stuck, is this an issue with the bracelets? I have another question, I can't decide on which model to buy. either the logo, or sterile dial. Did you look at the Sterile dial as a comparison? Many thanks
I got this watch a week ago. The bracelet and clasp are outstanding. My clasp works very well. Adjusting the glide lock was stiff the first time but it loosened up. The clasp opens and locks in place quite well.
I have had the sterile version of this watch for a year and it is a great "beater". The movement is pretty basic but keeps good time. At $72 it would not pay for shipping the real thing which, I will never own. I like the simple design and thanks for giving it some props in your video.
Yes I can understand your feeling on that. The tops of the lugs on a real rolex explorer (214270) are brushed not polished like this homage. stay tuned to the channel because in the coming weeks I will be reviewing a real Explorer and then comparing it to this watch! You're going to want to be subscribed if you're not already!
Cool! I actually like this version better than the sterile dial. It’s a nice homage, but like many, the 30M WR makes me a sad panda...but I can look past that. Maybe I’ll snag one of these soon! Great review man! 😎🍻👍
I've bought 2 Invicta Pro Divers, a sterile Parnis and a Bliger Sub. Never have I felt I haven't gotten fair value. I'd rather be remembered for my smile than my watch anyway.
It seems looks fantasy with more "explore" DNA than my aw1430-86e...but I feel more confident with mine as it has pass one and a half years severe test. 💪
You do get a lot of bang for your $ you would probably be hard pressed to buy the individual components for $70. It does seem to have all the usual negative points that so many of these Ali express specials have but i guess that parts like the bracelets & clasps probably all come from the same factory. Great in depth review 👍
I like homage watches mostly because I like classic watches more than the "modern jumbo watches" also my most expensive watch a Tissot Le Locle that cost me $400 but in general I like Japanese Automatic watches between $140 to $70 because I am a cheapskate who likes bang for the buck, ie. value for money.

Replace the clasp with a Long Island Watch 16mm milled clasp. Beast Mode!
You’re a hard working man. Great review man and not a bad watch for someone looking to get into a clean looking homage watch.

Nice review, i'm waiting to get mine, weird thing is NH35 option is cheaper than Miyota, SMH.

Hi, Josh. Quick question. What is the diameter of the dial alone? I’m looking for a base to mod, so I’m interested in the measurements. Thanks, man!

I ordered one of these bliger explorer homage watches six weeks ago. Still waiting with no word from Ally express. Never again.
Hope it comes in soon! This is one of the problems ordering from AliExpress.
Ali Express scammed me. The seller listed one product, then gave me another product. Amazon....and not Ali express.
