- Replacing the plates in a corona discharge ozone generator. Also, the difference between corona discharge and UV ozone generators.

Replacing the plate on mine doesn’t do anything. Idk if a fuse has gone out but the plate no longer does its job
@Zach Fields Do You have a link for the replacement Plate for this model? Just curious? Thank for the great information!👍
How long do the plates last on average?
Mine lasted zero....then 6 hours...waiting for 3rd replacement. Last chance
@@ljrowan1034 where did you get plates from?
what is the voltage between the two ends? Thank you. i chage to a new plate and it still not working, not buzing blue seen. Is that the power is not coming to the plate end? Thanks
Would the ozone machine work in a car that has been smoked in? Also, is a bigger machine ever “too big/powerful” for a small area such as a car?
Thanks!
Yes. Car dealerships do it all the time to get rid of smoke / dog / flood / whatever smells.
2:45 that sounds like thermal paste use in cpu
How much did the plate cost?
I wonder if I can make my own plates if the manufacturer goes out of business, or the model I buy is no longer supported.
As an Electrical Engineer, maybe I should just make my own ozone-generator, designed to use easy to replace steel, spark plugs, or durable tungston.
And I think that paste in the model you have here, is the kind that can conduct heat, but not electricity.
Also a cold plasma ozone machine, tesla designed those.
This should be titled "Easy Replacement of a Plate." No big deal here and definitely no you are not rebuilding the generator.
I guess I missed the part where you rebuilt it...
I’m grateful for your video. I couldn’t push the replacement plate fully down, but was able to lift the black plastic overhang piece (as you demonstrated) so the plate fit seamlessly with the newly applied heatsink paste (aka Silicone Cooler Paste). Super grateful as I couldn’t find any manuals or images that demonstrated. Success!
