Both drivers in a team share data with each other. Unless they’ve fallen out. Lewis will have seen George’s data in other sessions too (Jeddah and Miami come to mind)

I don't think Lewis is being sabotaged. I think Russell is just doing better. The time when Lewis qualified well with party mode Is over. That also makes a big difference. Past success is no guarantee for the present.
So when Russell made pole what was the outcome? 3rd place! Lewis would have made 2nd or 3rd place if Mercedes didn't play favorites to Woody. No tire change, no commutation, and no support. These decisions can easily be perceived as sabotage. It seems like the team might be transitioning their focus to George, and Lewis is not pleased with this shift.

Sorry but that tire problem during qualifying is nonsense. If those tires were too cold, he shouldn’t be up on sectors 1 and 2 on George, but he was. He made a mistake in the last corner, too fast on the throttle. End of the story

I do find it weird though, that during the last pitspot, they gave Lewis Hards but Russel Mediums. That was a strange call since both cars were quick, why put Hamilton on Hards with only a handful of laps left.
If the excuse was "we didn't have any new Mediums for Lewis", then fine, put on Softs. I think a set of softs would have easily done 10-15laps
@@thadrake the reality is nobody ran the softs in a race simulation in practice, nor in the actual race. there was no data. The mediums were graining on the McLarens after 13 laps, what do you think the softs would've done? I bet lewis would've finished behind the astons if he put the softs on.

I don't think Lewis is being sabotaged. I think Russell is just doing better. The time when Lewis qualified well with party mode Is over. That also makes a big difference. Past success is no guarantee for the present.
So when Russell made pole what was the outcome? 3rd place! Lewis would have made 2nd or 3rd place if Mercedes didn't play favorites to Woody. No tire change, no commutation, and no support. Tootoo is mad because Lewis is play chess and not checkers! It has always been a life long dream for Lewis to race for Ferrari.

I believe what’s troubling Lewis is that he isn't receiving the preferential treatment he feels he deserves after many years of loyalty, which is understandably frustrating for him. Having watched the debrief, I'm still puzzled as to why they decided to split the tyres initially, especially when James mentioned they suspected the mediums would grain. These decisions can easily be perceived as sabotage. It seems like the team might be transitioning their focus to George, and Lewis is not pleased with this shift.
I love how James Allison and Zak Brown are stirring up Christian Horner. I believe the effects of James Allison's leadership are starting to show. His evolutionary approach, constant push for upgrades, and positive attitude in the face of adversity are truly making a difference.
