It's definitely the price in the UK we are paying the same price for half board as we were paying for All inclusive. It's too much I won't be back while the prices are this high. Tennerife is cheaper

We've been coming to Benidorm twice a year for years absolutely love the place, but now it's the most expensive place to visit, probebly double the price and more than we've ever paid, so now having to consider Greece or Tenerife loads cheaper they need to bring prices down if they want the Brits to keep coming to this great friendly resort that we love ❤

Like to go to an apartment in the old town. Booked next 3 flights from Glasgow-Tui/Easyjet/Jet2-all similar prices-£700 for both of us. I think it's just pure greed now with prices for everything still rising. Thank goodness air is still free!? ❤

It’s getting too expensive to come from the uk . We was there a week ago for two weeks it cost us £1.400 self catering same time last year it cost £ 995 so now looking to go to other places cheaper its overpriced
We operate a legal car rental business south of Alicante and this year is much quieter. Anyone can see there are less people here. In our industry the consensus is this year could be 20% lower. Alicante airport is also quieter. Our stand there is showing less daily enquiries. I think Spain has become too expensive for the average person with too much cheaper competition from Turkey and other countries.

I like to book with Jet2 but their prices for October from Northern Ireland are extortionate so will probably stay in the UK!

We used to get before COVID two weeks all inclusive for £1400 for 2 people now it's £2400 for the same holiday, add to that the Spanish people are making it quite clear that tourists are not welcome any more only their money is

We were going to come to Benidorm but booked elsewhere because Benidorm is now too expensive.

Yes it around £300 from Cardiff to Alicante for October when I checked last week 😮

Watching this in Tenerife. The only reason we are in Tenerife rather than Benidorm this year is it cost half the price. Simple as that.

I have found because of the price a lot of people go to Turkey, Greece and Egypt also we are told you have to have a certain amount of money and rules that have come in are getting annoying
Do a comparison, try and book an hotel in the UK,flights from spain all inclusive and see what the price comes out at. 😅
Spain is making it very clear visitors are not welcome. Of course it's quieter. Spain is not the only country available for vacations.

Fining the tourists for buying from the migrant street vendors is another reason people will boycott Spain.. You may not see much of an impact this year but next year you will DEFINITELY feel it .

They're raising prices because they are predicting demand, and have had false indicators from the last year or so because of the plandemic rebound. Plus, it's school holidays and as much as I love Benidorm, it's not really for kids as much as other resorts
@@soapyd35 Benidorm is for kids though too, all of us who live here and have kids have a lot to do for them: theme parks, water parks, giant playgrounds, adventure areas, natural parks, bowling, closed play areas, etc

Frightening for the children it shouldn't be allowed , Air B & B causing less housing for the local Spanish governments need to sort this or turists wont be back as unsafe atmospheres
Hi Anna we are staying in rincon and we are 2 adults 3 kids is it easier to get a bus or tram to altea ,unsure of the area 😎

@@Mrjim.rockford the best way is the bus, there are stops right at Rincon de Loix, bus N10, you have to take the right side of the road, not the one going to Benidorm city center, but the opposite direction
