a lot of people in the wealthy areas are wanting bus routes to be rerouted around or completely scrapped from running through their local streets, because they believe thats how youth thugs are getting around and commiting theft.
where you at the hyperdome bah. i swear you were aye. i lived in Beenleigh and now i live in Brissy. but in all reality, kingston is sketch. Beenleigh isnt much better but ive seen some fucked up shit man i swear, and im only 13 mate.
Lesson learned. Be a boomer, go back in time. No modern day flight attendant and hair salon owner would ever be able to afford anything remotely close to that.
This is pretty inaccurate. For starters the house in Hamilton, that's land value only. Also, the crime is not just happening in the suburbs of Ascot, Hamilton and Teneriffe, it's happening across almost every suburb of Brisbane right now and tbh, you'll get the same response from people in less expensive (but desirable) suburbs as well. We've had two home invasions in 24hrs in my neighbourhood. The whole city has had a guts full!
All Australian cities are the same, kids from disadvantaged family got into youth gang and started criminal activities as a badge of honour. The youth justice system and education system have failed miserably, and those judiciary officials let the kids out on the street in the next morning. Because there is no consequence, those kids will do again and again. This needs to change - from a Brisbane resident who has been a youth crime victim twice in the last year!
Absolutely love this video. Jamie is such a talented UA-camr and incredible storyteller. I love how he didn't only show the negative but also the positive side. It's sad what is happening to those kids and awesome to see organisation like Streets University helping them out to remove them from that darkness.
@@jamiezhu You should go to Inala, Brisbane's most dangerous suburb. Inala is a bit like Mt. Druitt and Frankstown. A lot of youth Crime. Here are some other suburbs that are also pretty bad. Fortitude Valley, Brisbane & Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast both famous for nightlife, which is why there is a lot of crime and drunk people after midnight. You have also got Bowen Hills, lots of graffiti under the bridge near the rail yards, Petrie (Lots of people vape at the Train Station there), West End is quite run down, so a handful of teens often hang out there and cause a little bit of trouble, but some of them are also quite chill. Ipswich area is a little dodgy, & of course, every suburb in Logan. Logan is full of all the Bogans. But by far, Inala is the worst of them all.

In Bald Hills, the dodgy areas tend to be under the Gateway overpass onto the Gympie Arterial and Bruce Highways. Druggies have dealt there at the old gravelworks road there. The other dodgy area is the Train Station, after 10 pm at night, you should really avoid it because some dodgy stuff has happened from fights between drunk people who rolled down the hill from the pub and also one time a dude actually jumped in front of a train, *NAKED*. A few years ago now, they think he was drunk. But at my mates suburb of Petrie, he tells me that during the afternoons there are always these two dodgy bogans who claim they run a gelato business. one is tattooed with nose piercing and the other is bald and apparently they sell vapes, weed and bottles of PRIME to every single student at the train station. No Capp. & where the fuck are those Gelatos that they said they apparently sell?
The first house labelled Scorpia in Hamilton, was not sold for $2.8M. The original house that was torn down was probably that price. Built recently by Graya, a well known builder of expensive homes, it is much much more than that, probably closer to $9M.
A good report style of journalism Jamie, just be more careful with yourself and crew too. Love how you found the community solution to help the youth in Logan, Queensland.
Logan area is well-known for crime especially Logan central and Woodridge. They do come up to the Brisbane borderline suburbs for crime all the time so a lot of homes in the wealthier areas do have security cameras. Great video for awareness.

Thanks for this perspective. Imagine being able to afford a house on a flight attendant salary now, it's just impossible like that man said. Anti social behaviour will keep increasing as we lose the middle class and just become a country of wealthy and poor.
I don't think being wealthy/rich has to do with the anti-social behaviour that Jamie experienced. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with some influencer putting my house, my face up on social media. That's a privacy breach when asked not to. You can also become a target for crime. Smart people don't flex and especially don't flex on social media. Privacy = peace.
