DeBoom is excellent for removing lingering bass in speech. It's an essential plugin for me.
Honestly, this is like a godsend for heavy bass/club productions. Sometimes, a little tweak is all you need. Excellent review. PS I love the 'Nothing' at 5:59 minutes. Lolz!
Seems that those plug-ins are good only for home producers who don't know sound engineering and want a quick fix - and thank you for the AB test, this time it was smooth 🙏
Professional engineers often also want a quick fix I guarantee you ;-)
Honestly… I want results fast. Why spend more time when I can use one knob and get something usable in seconds?
@@Skkyyyyyyyyyyybecause it make you lazy (;
How about working with deadlines ;-) Has nothing to do with lazyness.
Hmm. Nice, simple tool. If they have Black Friday sale... Thanks for the review.
Yeah not on these ones. Its intro price now.
Get the Ozone 11 EQ instead which has transient and sustain EQing similar to SplitEQ and it's free.
title sounds like you are advertising shoe polish lol
Ozone 11 EQ allows for EQing transient and sustain and it's free.
Not everyone wants to hop on the NI / Izotope bandwagon - alternatives are good to have. I havent compared the quality of the transient / sustain splitting of Ozone 11 eq with split eq yet - I do find that Split EQ his really smooth at this with little artifacts. The smoothing and other settings of split eq help with that a lot.
@@whitenoisestudio Yeah, I've been trying out Ozone Advanced since it's on sale and I haven't been that impressed so I probably won't get it. But given that the EQ is free and does transient and tonal processing, I'd use the Ozone EQ and save up for SplitEQ which IMO is much better than the Ozone EQ. Alternatives are great, but these feel like a rip off and even more so after the sale ends. No way spending over half the cost for like 1% of the functionality of SplitEQ is worth it.
@@whitenoisestudio I tried to respond but youtube keeps blocking my comment. To summarize, while I like Split EQ better, these feel like a rip off for the price.
@Tekkerue ok that’s weird, usually if YT blocks something I need to manually approve them. Maybe the comments will show up in a couple of months, wouldn’t be the first time.
@@whitenoisestudio Yeah, youtube is getting really bad about this as of late. It's becoming almost unusable. I was trying to recommend a new free EQ plugin on another channel and never could get all the information through because youtube kept blocking it. After trying for like a half hour, I finally gave up. It's getting insane.
Did you not use the sheen on vocal performance,
I understand that there's a very big price difference between these and SplitEQ....it still seems weird that they did this.
Split eq is around 180 dollars yeah.
And here we are again. remember what we were saying? So in this case the million dollar (on miiillion doooollars) is, "why do I have to buy two plugins that could easily be one plugin ?"
I already own SplitEQ so what's the point of this?
I have my opinion on this in the video.
@@Jazzguitar00 at 7:50 he talks about this. These are like you are buying a little piece of split eq . Or in other words, a split of split eq
Baby Mini Split Eq
@@whitenoisestudio took me a split second to buy them after your review
maybe easy to rebuild in ableton rack and a good eq🤔 will try it:)
