The one player you can see what this absolutely diabolical season means to him. He know’s who is the dead weight, we’re stuck with that dead weight for another year…. God help the families of the players if they turn up for the Cambridge pitch walk, fans will be waiting with baited breath
Only players that deserves L1 football next year and for him personally I hope he gets it. Doesn’t deserve to drop down, he’s been let down time and time again by his team mates, we would have been down months ago if it wasn’t for him.

Well put Ben, spoken from the heart great player for the Vale and puts a shift in every match should have been Captain for me great leader . Think it has waved heavy on Smith this time and affected his performances . Worry about next season of how many players we can turn around , big disappointment not to get a striker in the club for alot of people and thats cost us in the end and also for me sacking Colin from running day to day things was also a big big mistake from upstairs .
This is painful to watch. You can see what it means to him. Excellent servant for the past three years

If the club genuinely want to bounce back then Ben has to be made an offer he can't refuse. Then make him captain and build a team around him!
One of the best and most consistent players we've had in years....He can hold his head high, he's never let us down.
So sorry Gaz. You deserve better than us. Gutted we will lose you next season as I think you love this club as much as we do. 😢 would love for you to stay and rebuild with us.
