I have been using packing cubes for 6 years and would never travel without again. Such a game changer. Light traveling is one of the best things I have learned over the years. Back then i had to sit on my huge suitcase to be able to lock it - now I‘m sharing a carry-on with my toddler for a week. Works really well ☺️
For an upcoming trip, a few weeks away… I have a bin next to my closet to put small things and travel gear I will want to pack. I am CURATING ❤ instead of rushing at the last minute! Packing cubes are essential. My favorite laundry bag is a camping vented compressible stuff sack (Sea-to-Summit) that is oval, so it’s space saving in a suitcase - I also pack a lingerie laundry bag - and hang both in the closet so I can use daily, repack fast, and do laundry easier when back home or on the go. Happy trails 🎉
I was overwhelmed when I started to pack, but then the lovely Christina uploaded this video and I just followed your steps when packing my stuff for our vacation. Thank you Christina!❤
Love this! I’m really enjoying your moving series and getting a lot of use out of your thoughts along the way. I’m packing for a week while the painter does everything in our apartment 2 weeks from now. We’re moving out to a local hotel. (Asthma and other health issues) I’ve been decluttering so it’s easier to shift the big stuff around- he’s painting ceilings as well as walls, trim, inside all the closets and behind all the big furniture and appliances. Great time to re think what goes back into the space and great excuse to get a little more minimal. Here you are with a packing video just as I pulled out the suitcases. ❤❤❤ The rest of the closet contents are getting packed so I’m thinking what I need for here at home till we leave as well as the hotel stay.
After traveling for years and knowing my needs better and better, I manage to pack in a cabin backpack for 1-7 day trips, and in a carry-on for trips over 7 days (my foldable yoga mat is always included and that is not questionable). I mimimize everything, sometimes I cut my soap bar in half :D And this year I've managed to pack in a carry-on for a 2 weeks trip including one week in a city, and a week in the countryside, beach included. Usually there is a washing machine wherever I stay, and if not (which is vary rare), I can always hand wash my stuff.
If you havent already, look into 'combo brows' which use a combination of micro blading and the powder brows technique. I find they look way more natural on ppl without a lot of brow. Such as myself lol.
Hey! Christina I have never clicked so fast and I am so so sorry if I disturbed you a lot you inspired me a lot and I wish you have a beautiful weekend🙂💓💫
If you would pack this for a short trip would you bring something to steam the shirt or deal with wrinkled fabric in a different way? We also love packing cubes!

The packing cubes have JUST become a game CHANGER for me now! 😅 Where have you cubes been all my life?!? 😂
Right?!
Me too! Carry on only baby! Haha
Yes packing cubes! They are so useful and easy to use, and keep your bag ORGANISED. My favourite is to use them for underwear, pjs and socks.

I use packing cubes even at home… they are great for storing linens, towels, and off season clothes

Ohhh I haven’t but that’s a good idea!
I travel with a small steamer always. Hotel room irons have a weird smell and have ruined my clothes in the past. It’s a must in my opinion!
Fabbbb !
Hope you have a great move! ❤
Super useful. What about shoes? Could you share your guy's capsule too? :)
