I could’ve sworn he noticed it while editing cause he zoomed into the word when he said “driving” last video, but I guess not?

About the time rifts there are 2 types of them:
-the blue ones are just fun platforming challenges (you unlock them by completing chapters)
-the purples are the ones that show you the picture and story (unlocked by completing relics)
some important tips:
YOU DID NOT BEAT BATTLE OF THE BIRDS make sure you go back there and do it you wont be disappointed
when you collect 25 time pieces youll unlock what is basically the end of the game so you might want to save that for after you beat chapters 6 and 7 (which i think you unlock after the one that says 25 time pieces but would be good to do those two chapters before the end of the game)
try not to skip much dialouge or cut out much honestly a lot of what people love about this game is definetly all the characters especially people like snatcher and the birds
people leaving in and out is can be distracting but be sure to play how you like (edit theres actually a mod called "no online party messages" that removes the notification for people joining/leaving on the steamworkshop I'd say to use that mod only as youre making your way through the offical game and its dlcs)
make sure you go back to mafia town to do act 5 and complete act 1 of subcon forest because you didnt get the time piece there yet and personally longer episodes would be great
really excited youre enjoying this game!
I remember when I played this, I also thought I'd finished the battle of the birds, but turn out there is a boss battle after you get that phone call.
I feel so proud to be the only one that already knew that I didn't complete it

Snatcher's melody theme is probably my favorite out of all in Hat In Time.
I love Rush Hour, it’s so grandiose and extravagant while also being frantic and fast paced, perfectly fitting for the situation it plays in (which is a spoiler so I’m not gonna say that part)

(As a little note, that hidden room under the pillow fort actually updates your entries depending on which was the last level you've played, you don't need to read it every time but it's a little neat detail to come back to if you want)
The story for Queen Vanessa pretty much goes like this:
-she had a prince bf
-she was super jealous and thought he was cheating
-she went insane
-he left her because of it
-he died later on and became the snatcher guy
What a happy story :)
Actually, she kidnapped the prince, and then he died, and basically everyone in the forest died as well. So now he continues on as the snatcher still ruling the force that was rightfully his

The pictures are in the PURPLE time rifts. Just a little heads up you unlock them with the relics.
But hey, you will need podiums to properly use them.
Exploring the spaceship will unlock them.
Oh by the way.
The foxes created those fire barriers, they're preventing you from accessing more of the forest.
But I reccomend getting all the time peices~
Oh and grab as much yarn for the world 4 hat. It requires ALOT. But is super handy!
If the hats give special effects, then the hat he’s wearing in the video gives him the ability to speak fluent in Japanese (feel free to tell me if it isn’t the Japanese language that’s on the hat lmfao)

Mike’s hat never fails at any time
The dweller mask toggles the funny space blocks, they're usually green or purple! For the last act 1 mission you need a chapter 4 hat which is in the freeroam area and (I won't reveal what it does!)
Technically he doesn't NEED it, but it makes the last mafia town level MUCH easier
There’s an accessibility skip when you first enter Queen Vanessa’s Manor where it’ll skip you right to the end of the level. This was added for people with heart conditions and people who are unable to handle horror/tense situations. Speed runners use it as well. Also, A Hat In Time was Gears For Breakfast’s first game, they have one other game that came out a couple years ago called Here Comes Niko.
Bijuu Mike, that telephone call at the end of battle of the birds was actually a hint, go back to the first act of the world and see what I mean

Death wishes are dlc that make the game hard as hell,they apper after beating the game,it makes the boss in EX form and makes you die 999999 times to them
I’m glad Mike is enjoying this game so far :) I only discovered this game because of failboat (and if any of you failboat viewers know it’s chaotic with all the mods he puts in it..) but nonetheless this game is incredible!

With the online party mode, the name of the room you enter is basically the room code, and up to 50 people can be in at the same time. If you aren't in an online room, up to 6 (or 5 I forgot) people can randomly show up as well (they can't interact with you though). So if you want you can set up an online room with a random name and share it with people you know to all chill :)
You unlock a new act after the phone call (what happens at dead bird studios when no one is around)
Next video Bijuu should buy an over-sized watch to put an hat inside it

Push up and down a few times on the dpad and Hat Kid will do a dance. Later you can get a badge (peace and tranquility badge) where different music will play and trippy visuals will happen.

the rainbow skin was a mod the mods alot of them are new skins, colors, and even hat flairs. there is also new badges and hat types and custom levels mods add so much to the gameplay without them is probably better for a first run, but on my first I had a bunch enabled and it made it so much more fun to explore and play

Here a tips if you want a tip if your having a hard time avoiding attack’s in a boss fight use the ice hat (some boss fights work better then others)
