Thank you, Robert, for all your insight regarding The Witcher. I’ve checked what Andrzej Sapkowski said in original interview with Ukrainian fans: “piszę nową książkę o Wiedźminie” (I am writing a new book about The Witcher). Polish word “książka” (a book) can mean both a novel or collection of short stories. So this is not definitive, but novel seems to be more probable.
Regarding Denethor's complex relationship with Faramir, a personal tinfoil hunch is that whilst favouring Boromir, he is shrewd and wise enough to on some level be aware that Faramir has that extra depth of character to Boromir and possibly even himself.
I love the channel love your insight and intelligence on some of the best or at least for me 😊 I was wondering what could be done about the microphone it’s definitely something and makes echos and such… I’m sorry to put that in here but I’m a huge fan and just know you deserve a little less fade and echo should not be hard to hear…. What am I saying the lower speech is frequently unrecognizable and the highs are very sharp - I’m not an ahole and if it helps with more people staying longer idk I’m on a tangent but-huge fan love the channels 🎉content and personality and brilliant work breathing life into these texts thinking on his toes and also adds facts again on the fly❤😅
I understand the idea of an original work being "tainted" by new associated works. For example, there are many people who are watching The Rings of Power who don't read books. They will never read Tolkien's original works, so all they know is The Rings of Power. To me it is a terrible shame that these people will believe that such a great author as Tolkien was ultimately responsible for the drivel that is at least half of the first season.
Another great video, Robert continuing to make the world a happier place 1 video at a time.
Interesting facts about the dead marches. Thank you Robert. Great stuff as always
Happy as always to see the notification from you Robert!
