It very hard to focus on what’s being said, I’m desperately trying to listen, I love the story love Roberts telling but yeah sound quality needs sorting
Yes, I don't know if it's his movements or the mic, but this problem is there every stream. The bad thing is that just when you start enjoying the show and engaging with the content it cuts off for a few sentences.
Aragorn is a 6'8" 90 year old in a 35 year old's body with 70 years of combat experience against both soldiers and magical & mythological monsters. Neither Jaime Lannister or Jon Snow are in the same class as a warrior or swordsman. 😂
I’ve enjoyed watching your videos for many years but you really should prioritize getting your microphone situation sorted out - reach out to an audio engineer send them the links to your livestreams something PLEASE
Great stream as per 👌 audio largely grand on rewatch (about 15 hours post stream) though it does seem to just cut out for a couple words at a time a few points throughout. Not enough to mean one doesn't understand what's being spoken about usually, just a little choppy!
The audio still isn’t good, Robert - keeps on cutting out or being garbled 😞 Sounds nothing like your usual quality - more like a laptop mic that isn’t working terribly well. Hope you can get it improved - we want to hear you!
The new mic sounds great... if the audio registers ^_^" Please look into why the audio cuts out so often. Sometimes complete words are illegible, which makes it really hard to retain focus. Maybe you have some kind of filter enabled that is a bit too enthousiastic? You don't have the same issues with scripted videos, so maybe it is something in the livestream software?
was the same with the The North livestream he did 2 weeks ago. then for the watch stream he fixed it. now its back to bad again. find it weird he dont do tests befor he does the stream. so much good content being wasted imo.
I always got the impression that in the books because the army of the dead only had fear as a weapon and couldn't actually physically kill the enemy like in the movies, they were extremely useful in driving off the corsairs because they were men and they were able to chase them into the water and then the following forces of southern Gondor were able to kill them as they fled and drowned and then took control of their ships. My assumption has always been that they would have not been as effective against the orcs because they would not have been afraid of the ghosts of men and they were already being controlled by their fear of sauron and the nazgul and would have been more afraid of them.
I’ve been enthusiastically listening to your livestreams since 2019 but lately the audio quality it’s been bad, to the point I stop listening to them ): Which is a shame, since the topics are really interesting and i’m always looking foward for the streams. Hope you can fix that soon (:
Here's a question I have. Both Elros and Elrond had the gift of choice of which children they wanted to be a part of, as being part elven, human, and maia. It seems Elrond's children also had the choice with Arwen's decision to become mortal to marry Aragorn. So did Elros' children have the same choice?
As to the army of the dead. Aragorn being honourable is a good explanation, but there is another. It took a lot of willpower to keep the grey company together in from of the dead. All the people they passed by were scared out of their wits. This because the dead in the book had no physical form. Their weapon was purely fear. I don't think Aragorn would have been able to march any army to Mordor if the dead were still around.
Just some sound feedback - this stream was actually worse than the last. However I don't think this has to do with head movement as some have suggested. I saw the audio cut out when you were not moving your head. So I think this has something to do with lag / internet quality or other such technical issues. That aside, I still look forward to your content every time. :)
Even after seeing the movies dozens of times and reading the books 5-10 times each and the silmarillion 3 times i still didn't understand the whole thing about Aragorn being decended from the royal bloodline of the northern kingdom and the stewards were waiting for the return of the king of the southern kingdom. At first I thought Isidur was the last king. I didn't learn the whole situation until I watched a UA-cam video about it
It's a shame that many readers of Tolkien can't appreciate the philosophical point he was trying to make with Valinor. The humans of Numenor were CORRUPTED into wanting to go to Valinor. Humans wanting to go to Valinor is not a good thing, it is an evil thing. Aragorn would definitely not have desired to go to Valinor.
The movies leaving out Southern Gondor and Prince imrahil and having aragorn jump off the ships with the army of the Dead that easily just wiped out. The enemy army was the worst change from the books in my opinion
I understand the lives of the rangers themselves but what about the females and the children? We hear about Aragorns mother but with the number of surviving rangers there has to be an equal number of women, children, old people? The men can't just be mating with local women or their blood would be totally diluted after this many generations and they would be no different than the other middle men
someone please help Robert fix the sound system. the sound during live streams cuts out regularly. otherwise, he is my favorite creator on youtube. ♥
Agreed, not very good tonight. I usually don't hear any audio issues on Robert's end.

@@TommyBombadillioI’ve always found the audio very jarring, it’s often poor

It’s weird, because the audio on his main videos is great.
Ring of Barahir: the story of this ring is one great example of how elves were not always the paragons of virtue that people think they are.

6 foot 8?? Blimey. 😲
Two live streams ago he had a similar problem whatever mic he keeps using to replace isnt cutting it. Be down to pitch for a mew one for our boy
37:05 this is my favorite quote in all of the legendarium.

Loved this, thank you Robert you helped me get through a deep house clean.

I just missed the ending was having Wi-Fi problems but thanks to Robert and the mods for another great stream!!!
There is a book written by Angela P. Nicholas, titled "Aragorn: J.R.R. Tolkien's Undervalued Hero". It's a very good read and I recommend it.
Thank you as always for the amazing content Robert!! Glad I got a bit of the live stream can wait to rewatch this like 3 times 😂

Great stream as always! Thanks for all the extra lore and depth you remind us about Aragorn 😍!
(Sorry auto correct kept biting me!)

There is a ton of audio corruption in this video, it is almost impossible to watch.
Yeah, had to turn it off at 6:30. First time I have ever not finished one of your videos. 🥺
I feel the same way. I really wish he would take his audio issues more seriously and hire somebody to help him.

But do we know his tax policies? 🤔
Haha we don't but Robert has a good video about it I think

Audio quality is absolutely terrible... Can't understand anything you say for about 70% of the video.
Guess I'll have to try again next stream... 😢
impossible to listen with these audio problems. Too bad.

Denethor Tyrell steward of Highgarden and the kingdom of reach ruling until Aragorn Greenhand returns to claim his throne as the rightful king
King Daemon Blackfyre is my Aragorn.

Sound isn't good again, unfortunately :( It's 95% great, but some parts are impossible to understand and really unpleasant to listen to.
Your streams are amazing, your knowledge and presentation are on top, but this small thing really is holding them back for me atm...
