As a former US Marine, I had the privilege to train with our counterpart. The Philippine Army. Such great comradery and very hospitable individuals. The balut became our favorite treat, we keep hearing them say… “Americans eat balut with no facial expression of disgust” Memories worth while 🫡
Wow Knox, we're sure you have some incredible memories from your time training here in the Philippines. We've felt the Filipino hospitality while we've been here and it's on another level that's for sure. Balut is definitely a delicacy you've gotta try while you're here! Thanks so much for watching and commenting😊
Amazing street food tour! The Philippines have such interesting and unique foods I never heard of before. The Moro dishes look really delicious. The Balut look quite extreme and you guys handled it like pro. Looking forward to you next Filipino street food adventures ❤
Thank you so much guys!! The Philippines definitely has so many unique foods to try, we're truly loving it! Balut has been on our bucket list for some time so getting to try it was a treat, and a little different than we were expecting, we were pleasantly surprised! You would love it here 😉 thanks for watching and for the support 🧡🔥
We're so glad we did as well, we really enjoyed our time in Zamboanga! We were pleasantly surprised with what a wonderful city it is. Thanks a lot for watching and for your comment😊
@@HungryTwoTravel you're welcome!! I just started binge watching your videos and I must say that I really love your vlogging style! Feels more like watching a legit food and travel show tbh, makes me think that either of you might have worked in TV production before lol (the quality is just that good! 😊) Nonetheless, more power and keep em coming!
@@Catcat00-00 Hey Rainn! Thank you so much for the compliment, it means a lot that you're enjoying our videos 😊 We started our channel almost exactly two years ago now with no experience, so have just been learning and growing along the way :) We hope you continue to enjoy watching though! Thanks again and all the best 🧡
What a beautiful city with such a lovely promenade to walk along and watch the sunset! We have to say that watching you eat the balut has to be the most extreme thing we've seen you do so far!!!
Zamboanga is a lovely city we have to agree. The balut was definitely intense that's for sure😂 one of the more interesting things we've eaten that's for sure!!
Haha thanks Joe! We've been wanting to give it a try since we arrived and were so glad we finally did! Definitely tasty and extremely unique!!! Thanks for watching 😊😉
Thanks for featuring Moro cuisine guys ❤ It's always great to know more about food and culture down south. I might hunt for some in Manila one of these days as Zamboanga is too far from NCR. And totally agree with Steph with her description of balut, tasty and scary. Ive no words for Chris and the 18 day old egg. 👊🏻💪🏻😂😊 A bit of trivia, the white eraser like part is often not eaten because it just too tough to chew. We call it "bato" in Tagalog, means "rock" in English.
Hey Cris, thanks for the bit of info! That part is definitely not edible lol, we really enjoyed trying balut, it definitely tastes better than it looks😂 thanks a lot for watching and commenting though! You should definitely get your hands on some Moro cuisine if you can!
Haha thanks Leojan! It was definitely something we've been wanting to try, and tasted a lot different/better than we were expecting! Honestly something we'd have again. Thanks for watching and commenting ;)
Everyone has a Balot video. You should go eat Penoy. I dont know why no eats that on a video. Balot and Penoy was like Batman and Robin. They are sold by the same vendors who sell balot and the chicharon.
What's up everyone!
Would you try the Filipino street food delicacy, Balut?
Thanks for watching! 😊🧡
We would love to give it a try. Hope to make it to the Philippines soon :)
