I was afraid to use silicones in hair products and avoided for quite a time because of Watching and reading that don't use it in cgm. But watching your content I have started using silicone based product mostly conditioner and it's so easy to detangle and makes my hair very soft. Even sulphates as I have same scalp type as yours needs clarifying often.
I use this gel in combination with ashba leave in conditioner or love beauty and planet leave in conditioner… works well for me as i wash my hair every 3rd day

I love your reviews and was excited for this new range. I wanted to confirm that the serum gel doesn’t have silicones or drying alcohol right? (Basically it’s cg friendly for sure). I’m not against silicones in general but it didn’t suit me and weighs my hair down in leave in products. So just checking. I love ashba serum since I have fine wavy hair so I’ll give this a try when I run out of it

Thats probably because you are doing onlyyyy shampoo and conditioner. These two steps are essential but not enough for wavy and curly hair

And also saw your vdo, that first time low cost CGM process... I want to use that two products.. 1. Ustraa hair cream 2. Set wet gel. Is that 2products ok for my wevy hair... ???? ❤❤❤❤

Ma'am, I have wavy curly hair but I have done pixie haircut and need a safe hairstyling producy to style my front hair. Also, I wash my hair once a week as I am busy and have OCD problem due to which I take a lot of time to wash. I have 3 questions regarding the Dove curly hair gel.
1) Since my hair is short, will it irritate my scalp?
2) Since I am using it for front hair, does it cause acne on face?
3) How often will I have to wash my hair if I plan to use this gel daily?

Thank youuuuu Shweta 🥰♥️ that means a lot♥️ no matter what mask you buy, if its a deep conditioning mask or any type of non-oily treatment mask, must always use after shampoo on clean hair. How long you want to leave it and how frequently you use it depends on your hair and its requirement. More of coarse hair and less for fine hair. You will find these videos helpful too

Nothing except silicones in shampoo, conditioner and mask. However all three you listed are very safe, very well researched, very effective and AMAZING ingredients for what they do👌🏽 its just the marketing thats making everyone fear them else there isnt any proof either.

Hi Pooja, this range would work great on such hair♥️ have shared in detail who will like the products and who will not. You can also add a leave-in conditioner or hair cream right before the gel to get even more moisture.
Mild hairfall is okay we tend to lose 50-100 strands each day naturally

Hey Deepika, I have been watching your videos but I was really unable to understand what shampoo I should use as I had tried plenty in market. But this video of your came as saviour for me like you mentioned that this range is suitabe for those whose hair break, I ordered it instantly and to my surpirse this worked, true my hair break a lot and so far this range has rescued me I have done nearly 8 washes so far and then no complaints. But due to silicon I really have to do go for wash in 3 times a week. Can you pls recommend similar CG friendly that can help me. I have dry scalp and dry breaking hair. Hi! Glad it worked so well for you! I hope you aren’t washing frequently just by assuming it might buildup. Silicones dont buildup for everyone like it doesnt buildup for me. And 3 times a week isnt very frequent honestly. Atleast twice a week you would have to wash anyways. Once a week is a really bad frequency and not suitable for indian pollution and weather😮💨

You can oil whenever you want but do it on the day you have to wash your hair. Leaving oil on hair is very problematic habit because oil attracts a lot of dust dirt and increases chances of acne as well. Best way to use hair oil - Dos & Donts of oiling

Hi no! Combing is a thing of past and absolutely not necessary for curly hair. Curly hair shouldn’t be combed unless you want to open up curls for whatever reason like may be making hairstyles. Infact i wont suggest dry combing much because it really tugs and pulls and rips apart tangled hair. Absolutely NO NO! You can watch this playlist to know what to do instead

I use curl-up products usually. Is the dove gel something I can use as an everyday serum for better hold? (Using curl-up on washday then only the dove gel everyday)
Hi Muskan, you mean for refreshing your curls? Yes you can use it for refreshing curls in case you cant wash but I wont suggest refreshing everyday as interaction of water with hair on daily basis isnt healthy for hair. But like i said in the video, its a nice product for refreshing. Its not exactly serum - more like a light hold gel

Conditioners and masks don’t exactly moisturise hair - for that you will have to leave something in your hair like leave-in conditioner or cream. But they do soften and detangle very well and thats why very essential. If I compare then dove mask does more of those two things. make sure you are not over doing deep conditioners as they can make hair very limp and lifeless if overdone. My personal suggestion is to use deep conditioners as and when required (as explained in the video)♥️

Hi, seems like you are not taking care of curly hair thats why they are dry. Dont have to do anything elaborate but basic washing, conditioning, styling like I suggest in my videos and sleeping on satin is enough. This is the most basic but most important thing for curly hair. Good nutrition is important for excessive hairloss. If facing so, please see a doctor and find the root cause
I have seborrhoeic dermatitis too it's almost necessary for me to wash my hair daily and I have curly hair (men) what do you recommend.
I would recommend not washing daily and instead using dandruff controlling shampoo whenever you wash. I like using plum dandruff shampoo it does the job well without being overly drying like ones available in medical stores like ketomac etc. on other days when I dont wash I use leave-on scalp lotion from the same range same brand. Helps a lot!!! But don’t extend washdays beyond 3-4 days and if its toooo much like scabs and bleeding then get medical help

Shampoo for oily scalp will be same for anyone with oily scalp irrespective of hair type be it straight wavy or curly. Go for medium- strong cleansing shampoos and not conditioning shampoos.

I dont think the range is enough since it has no stylers as such. Has a hair spray but its not enough for curly or wavy hair
hello dear I am 15 years old and I have wavy frizzy hair and there are just few brand products like dove , tresemme,loreal ,pantene and sunsilk in my area I have been using this product it really help me to enhance my waves but it didn't help with frizz but it was perfect but I don't know which shampoo brand to use can you help me 😢
Hi, that’s awesome that you have found some products locally that work so well for you. I dont think you need to use a different shampoo for frizz - shampoo is only for cleansing and will not contribute in minimising frizz. What you need to add is a styling product like I have shown in this video by dove. I think you will find it locally as well or Ustraa hair cream

Absolutely! You can keep using your current shampoo and conditioner and just add this gel to the routine. I have medium hair strand thickness with medium-high density too. The gel is one of my favourite stylers for light headed fluffy feeling hair. Make sure you use good quantity ok?

Which is better plum or dove for curly hairs
Cannot compare the whole brand - every product category differs plus everyone has different scalp and hair type. No one shoe will fit all. Conditioner is definitely dove’s better
I only have the shampoo and conditioner of this so can i condition first and then shampoo and will that be enough as a beginner?
Honestly with just shampoo and conditioner it will still remain frizzy undefined. Soft and clean yes but only till its wet. Stylers are must for wavy and curly hair.

That’s because first using lots of oil on hair and then using lotsss of shampoo to remove it - this is wastage of oil plus shampoo both. Why do we use oils? We use them for lubricating hair and scalp and also softening effect right? That can be very well done with moderate quantity of oil as well. Plus we also have conditioner to do the same thing again.
Using lots of shampoo to remove oil will just dry out hair - so ultimately there is no use of using so much oil if its causing dryness.

Hi! It doesnt make hair stiff because its light-medium hold gel and moisturising too but if you use loads it will make hair stiff. HOWEVER gel making hair stiff is a desirable characteristic. We want the cast because that way it makes curls quite defined with less frizz while drying. Once hair is completely dry, smoothen out the gel cast to reveal softer curls underneath. You can also gently scrunch for the same. I have shown this in several YT shorts and videos.
Dry and dusty - not at all. Not this one. This can happen with any product though especially if you use loads of it. Happens quite often with leave-in conditioners and hair creams if you use way too much quantity then it will definitely dry tangled and dusty

Maine school ke bad kabhi comb nahi kia curly hair ko. Tab tak kia kyu ki pata nahi tha aur kya karu na mujhe pata tha na mere parents ko. Combing sabko pata hai islie sirf comb kia aur kuch nahi. Magar ap dekhte ho na comb karke curls kaise khul jate hain aur frizzy hoke ulajh jate hain. Curly hair ko sabse jaldi kharab karna hai to ya to bhot sara bleach karlo ya heat styling karlo ya fir dry comb karlo - sabse jaldi damage honge.
Hair growth ka kuch lena dena nahi hai comb karne se. Comb to hum balo par karte hain scalp par thodi karte hain. Aise to kisi curly hair wale ke baal hi lambe nahi honge. Baal lambe hona ya na hona humare genetics, nutrition, hormomes par depend karta hai. Lambe ka to pata nahi magar dry comb karne se baal toot zarur jate hain 🥲
