What Lynch and Phonk Beta did is unmatched, I wasn't surprised to learn about his interests in film later on, that Sacramento sound was cinematic. I think Lynch's work should be mentioned any time someone talks about how raw or dark Mobb Deep's The Infamous is. Those twisted pitch bent basslines were so far ahead of their time, dude is truly an artist.

Soren Baker does a really good job interviewing people… he actually knows the music very well of the people he interviews… unlike Vlad who knows very little about the artist’s music he interviews and often times makes mistakes and just seems to ask people controversial questions trying to get people to incriminate themselves. Soren doesn’t do that… he just talks music and it’s cool that he knows his stuff!
