Something funny just happened to me a few hours ago.
I was returning to Horseshoe Overlook (Camp in Chapter 2) with a Perfect Bison Pelt for a Satchen Upgrade when I found a lonely horse in the path between Twin Rocks.
Out of mere curiosity, I studied it and turned out to be the Brindle Thouroughbred!! Couldn't believe it!!
Now, I'm not really a fan of them since they have low health/stamina and are a bit more skittish than the Arabians. But, who am I to deny a free horse? Especially one that can reach top speed? 😂😂😂

Dlc thorougbred is available fairly early in chapter 2 not at end, great vid tho

Theres literally a black Thoroughbred in the singleplayer caught in the wild but no guide has it and its weird i uave it on 2 dif saves....

Same happened to me, I saw a video randomly on the wild black thoroughbred in single player and for some reason I didn't save it.. now I've been looking online for hours to no avail 😅

Dawgs I randomly found the dapple gray in new Austin and while trying to calm it down a random npc camper started shooting at me killing the poor thing.😂😢😢
