It's not a ghost town, it's a heaven for us. More than 4000+ families have lived peacefully without any caste, creed or any kind of discrimination. Life was really awesome, I am so so lucky to have spent almost 22 year's in kudremukh, so much of memories still afresh!! ❤️❤️

We spent so many beautiful holidays when my uncle lived there. We looked forward to going to Kudremukh each and every summer holiday. My aunt made yummy food while I saw every corner with my 3 cousins! It became a holiday resort to my sons too till they were 7-8 years.

2017 ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಈ ಗೆಸ್ಟ್ ಹೌಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ರಾತ್ರಿ ತಂಗಿದ್ದೆವು. ತುಂಬಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದೆ.
ಆಗಿನ್ನೂ ಆಳ್ವಾಸ್ ರವರ ಇನ್ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ನಲ್ಲೆ ಇತ್ತು ಅನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

One of the wonderful places I have stayed in when growing up. I was one of the students who studied at the central school that is there in the video. This video brought me so many memories of the place when it was filled with people. I haven’t been there in more than 30 years, I hope I will visit there sometime when I visit India. Once upon a time this place was called singapur of chikmangalore. well managed town. in 1980 itself company has built a pipeline system to transport ore, which is now used to transport water to mangalore city. It also constructed a full size dam to store waste generated from the iron ore. This company and city construction was carried out by a foreign company(i think canada based). we had 24*7 current , a well organized drainage and sanitary system, clubs, Kendriya vidhyala lot more at the time of 1980+ itself.
Many city corporation should learn from kudremukh city on how to build adequate drainage and garbage system .
I still remember that the KIOCL company md was travelling in KIOCL company owned helicopter from bnglr to kudremukh.
It had helped a lot of people,places nearby by constructing bridges,clinics,employment etc, but the people won't remember this. they just tell that the kudremukh was built on there own lands, which in reality is not true.
