    I am thinking of buying but the lack of test results put me off..
    Why Hifold is it not tested at ADAC? These are very important results-for me.
    Based on previous research. To which other child seat can you compare it in terms of safety?

      Dear Dear Katarzyna Kulik, you can find the ADAC review of the hifold fit-and-fold booster seat on their website. You will also find these comment on their website, which we are very proud of (Google Translate from original German):
      "In the ADAC child seat test 2020 , two foldable child seat models were examined. Both are suitable for children between 100 and 150 cm tall. … the " Mifold Hifold Fit and Fold Booster " received the grade "satisfactory" and clearly exceeded the legal requirements for a child seat.
      "The "Mifold Hifold Fit and Fold Booster" weighs only 4.4 kg, is also a space saver and, according to the test, easy to use and fold. The pollution in the upholstery fabric is also harmless."
      There are some great photographs of the unique MultiFold™ system.
      We are sure you will love the ultimate comfort, adjustability and compact portability of the hifold fit-and-fold booster seat.

    Why didn't you show the end result of the crash test? I want to see the pictures of it.

      Hi,
      We created this video while we were developing the hifold seat, this is not a regulatory crash test. We published it as a project update, to show the Indiegogo crowdfunding contributors the progress with the project. It was also designed to be a bit of fun, to show the backers who contributed to the project a crash test facility, and (for the first time ever as far as we are aware) to strap a camera to the crash test bench, and show the actual speed of a test.
      Like the majority of child restraint system manufacturers (and all of the leading global CRS manufacturers) mifold does not publish regulatory crash test videos. The hifold fit-and-fold booster seat is globally regulated and meets or exceeds the International UNECE standards, the Canadian CVMVSS standard, the US FMVSS standard and the Chinese CCC standard. hifold has also been tested and rated by independent, non-regulatory organisations like ADAC.
      Please contact support@mifold.com if you would like additional information.

    hi.. what is the result of the crash test?

    • @Mifold
      @Mifold  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the question. The hifold fit-and-fold booster seat meets or exceeds the regulatory standards in most of the world under the UN ECE crash test protocol, in the USA under FMVSS213, Canada CMVSS 213 and China's CCC. So wherever you buy your seat, you can use it almost everywhere and know that you comply with the relevant standards. We are proud that hifold is the first globally regulated highback booster. Probably not a good one or they would have shown the end of the crash test

    Can you show us a video of the actual carseat being involved in the crash test? You didn't show the carseat results from the crash

    Any side crash tests?

    • @Mifold
      @Mifold  2 роки тому

      Ed Vera hi - thanks for your question. No there are not. The hifold fit-and-fold booster seat is globally regulates as follows:
      - International - UNECE R44/04
      - US - FMVSS213
      - Canada - CMVSS213
      - China - CCC
      None of these regulatory standards include side impact tests.
      Please write to support@mifold.com if you have further question.

      Hi Dani . Thank you for your order. It is of the utmost importance to us that we ensure that we will be delivering the highest quality and safest product possible and we will not compromise on this.
      As you are aware hifold is an innovative product based on breakthrough technology and we are committed to delivering a product that meets the highest expectations on safety, comfort and ease of use.
      Over the last couple of months we have made some significant improvements to hifold including redesigning the shoulder clip to improve safety and ease of use. We have also increased adjustability by giving hifold 10 height setting and three adjustments to each of the head, arm and seat base widths. This means that hifold will have 270 different size configurations! We have also added a shoulder strap to improve ease of carrying and a restraining buckle for easy storage.
      We are sure that these changes will significantly improve mifold.
      We expect to start shipping in June which means that those that pre-ordered last year will receive in June or July.
