Waiting to replace my xl springs. Call up in person, as opposed to ordering online. Wayyyy better experience! I’ll post once I get my spring, lock and weather seals installed. Originally installed in 1998. This is the first time any thing needs replacing.
So I have purchased and replaced the spring according to your video and had someone watching me do each step to ensure I did it correctly and didn't miss anything. The door still does not spring back. What else might I be able to try to make the door close? If it is pushed all the way open it does not come back. If it is open and inch or two it will come back.
I watched the video to see how to reinstall the spring cover since the directions tell you nothing. This video ends before that is accomplished. Waste of my time.
