I did ice hockey, basketball and just a few weeks of water polo. water polo is incredibly hard, you're 100% right. it just sucks the life out of you, after training was over, or a match was over i remember being totally dead.
he's spraying a special wax that doesn't go away in water, it prevents the ball from slipping away when you shoot or take it. sorry for my bad english- Belgium.
I played for 8 seasons, loved this game. Went on to coach high school waterpolo. Much respect to all players.
