What this simulation really needs. This is a common occurrence in traffic and causes many headaches for every type of road user 1: cyclists, mopeds and scooters in cities - this is always very challenging for trucks in the city, difficult to see 2: Pedestrians just crossing the road - causes a lot of headaches for every road user. 3: road users who do not obey the traffic rules - now the AI is really so strict about the traffic rules, this is seriously unrealistic. There are always people who do not follow traffic rules on the road, causing traffic disruption, congestion and accidents
I love the adaptive cruise control, automatic wipers and automatic high beams. With the realistic coupling I take it a step further: I drive under the trailer with the suspension on its lowest setting, lift the trailer by raising the suspension to its highest setting and only then reversing into the kingpin to latch onto the trailer. The same in reverse when uncoupling: unlock the 5th wheel with the suspension high, creep forward, let the trailer down gently by lowering the suspension and only then driving out from under it, leveling the suspension as I do. This doesn't put any front to back stress on the landing gear, extending its life expectancy. While probably not simulated in the game, it's good for injecting realism into your gameplay.

I'm using the adaptive cruise just in busy places , close to tols , in towns , in bumper to bumper traffic. In a way it's a great addition , on the other hand they have to update it a bit more because it has some annoying bugs. If it's turned on on the level that keeps the truck the furthest from car in front , it brakes me (quite hard) for no reason if another car goes in my lane , even if it's going faster than me or if it's at a safe distance that doesn't require (heavy) braking. Also , close to tols where everybody starts braking , the system reacts quite poorly on every level , it brakes too late or it's using too light retartders , not keeping a safe distance to the car in front and than it gets scared that I'm too close and applies full emergency braking , stooping me. But if it would use more retarders or if it wouldn't get scared for getting 1 cm closer than it likes , keeping nice and steady retarders/brakes nothing would happen and I could get to match the speed with traffic. If it's on the level that keeps the truck the closest , since 1.48.5 , many times it doesn't see the car in front until I crash into it. This at similar speeds , not if I go 160 km/h and the car 40/km/h because obviously I don't expect it to react as such speeds. But let's say 60 km/h vs 50 km/h , or 140 vs 130. Also on every level , if I try to overtake or change the lane , the adaptive cruise will just stop me when I'm parallel to the vehicle , even I was following it using adaptive cruise before and I had a safe lateraly distance. And the most annoying part , when the car in front stops , since 1.48.5 , my truck runs out of air in the braking system in 2 seconds (before this update I was stopping once or twice , but after that the cruise was deciding to go even the traffic was still standing , crashing into everybody in front of me). I don't understand why it runs out of air so quickly , with all brakes applied I need 10-15 seconds until I start getting the warning for low air and 15-20 seconds until the system is empty. Regarding detours , I wouldn't mind them , but in some conditions: to be warned before I'm at detour that the route is unavailable and that I need to get another route or if the GPS would reroute automatically ; if detours would be 10-50 kilometres , not 500. The most annoying detour is when the exit from Debrecen is closed and to get to Romania you need to go back through the town , to Budapest and to Szeged. If I would know since I'm in Kosice , I would go straight to Budapest , avoiding Debrecen , and not loosing too much delivery time , but since I don't know about it , I end up many times going on the wrong side of the highway just to avoid it. Funny enough , every time detours happens when I'm running late , the estimated time arrival matches the time left to complete delivery (with or without a sleep break) and when I'm close to destination , having less options for reroutes. They don't happen when I have one day as spare , with at least one extra sleep break available.

I've a profile in which I own no truck's nor trailer's. I'm a driver for hire who specalize's in over sized load's. And this adaptive cruise thing is great for following the escort. I simply get going and or about 20 mph activate the cruise which I've set at 35. And simply let go of the throttle, staying at what I set at 40 feet behind the escort. In my other profile, I use to have the speed limiter on which caused generally everyone else to pass me, and me not ever having to slow down, when no one was in front of me to close. I've deactivated the speed limiter and using cruise, when getting to near to someone in front, look left, and if clear, step on the gas, pass, and once I'm back in the right lane, let go of the throttle and it return's to set speed. LOVIN" Adaptive Cruise Control. Though the accident control suck's when, the dam four way flasher come on all the time. Don't mind a little beep once in a while when getting to close to someone, but what's with the dam flasher's coming on.
for me it is cool that you can browse the different types of cargo, and even the companies, so I can choose to work for certain companies that way. Because I now have nothing else interesting to do, since I am 101 level, so to make it more interesting I can play like that. Or to work only in a couple of countries. Or just in one. Let's say Bulgaria. If I deliver cargo outside of Bulgaria - to France, then I search cargo from France that needs to be delivered in Bulgaria... I just make my own missions. Not just drive around wherever with whatever cargo. :)

I would go with ETS2 because i prefer more windy roads, and adventures. But if you want the more calmest experience possible, ATS might be better. But both games are almost the same, so, what ever lol.
I use all those features, I cant drive withput them, I also wait when I finish fueling my truck, you can hear the driver getting in the truck closing the door and puting the seatbelt, but that happens only if you stay idle a little bit after you finish refueling, I think that wait should be a forced feature to add realism
Realistic transmission, its my prayer for the next game that you set your shifter positions and if you get in a Volvo, its a Volvo pattern, if you get in a Scania, its a Scania pattern.
For the adaptive cruise control, do u have to switch that on in the settings or is it just done as standard all the time, cuz u never mentioned if u had to turn it on or not. Also the tyre squeak is great cuz it can help to let yk if ur about to tip or not.
Besides all, new West Balkans DLC is perfect visually but it drops the FPS to 1 very frequently and even the game stops in Singleplayer. It is just like the condition in Multiplayer's Duis-Calais railroad crossing in heavy traffic. I drive in France-Spain-Scandinavia and UK to avoid the FPS dropping. This problem must be solved a.s.a.p.
auto lights and beams on and off is great to have too cause u know u can drive with night full beams on and if rhey see car or anyrhing it will auto on and off thats one of usefull ones if u tired turning them on and off
I liked the idea at first but it quickly became immersion breaking for me just because the traffic is not affected by the bumps. They drive smoothly like always, even other trucks so it feels really "meh" and artificial imo (which it really is)
@@brSiRiuS Try setting Driveshaft torque to 100%, Truck stability 60%, Suspension 70%, Cabin suspension about 50 or 60%. Also try Realistic Truck Physics Mod v9.0.4 (by Frkn64). This really makes it feel more realistic.
I don't really like the adaptive cruise control. Firstly it's not like I need to use it when playing a video game, cause I can just overtake, secondly, it doesn't work very well i.e. it makes you stop instantly when bedding towards a road narrowing
Yeah, i would really like this, because it would add to the realism. Plus, i think that even with newer tires, they could get punctured depending on where you go (for example, if you start driving very fast on a bad road, something could puncture the tire(s)), and the game give you the option to either fix the tire, or buy a new one.
i dont think they would implement this because of the DLC's such like michellin it could give them a bad reputation if their tires would puncture.. it would damage the brand, thats why u dont see damage on vehicles aswell.
for some reason, ACC doesnt work well for me - it'll slow down for a truck thats braking for an exit thats so far ahead i cant even see the truck is there some setting i'm missing?

I personally think adaptive cruise control is definitely one of the best, especially on motorways/highways. I also use Advanced Trailer Coupling but i personally absolutely hate tire screeching.
If you drive like a normal and sane person, there wont be any tire screeching :) Hit the parking brake at 90 kmh, of course there is gonna be screeching.
Yes I hate the detours, but only, and I do not know if its because I'm using a years old save and not something fresh, because they literally happen every single mission I drive. Its too often. And always happening at roads where no easy detours are available.
Hello! I turned off the air brake simulation.....2 times my truck goes full break at full speed on the highway....if i am full speed...its not possible to run out of air! 2 times i had to wait ( on the highway ) to fill up air again....not realistic to me
so if the game is really going to give us real challenges, then I guess we should also be treated as AI people. i.e. if we drive in a wreck we must be picked up by the ambulance and if it is only the car that is damaged we must wait to be picked up by the recovery vehicle and should the actual clearing of the accident take place in a realistic time, so if we hold back for the blockade it will be lifted after an appropriate time and not like now, when you sneak past the accident and the rescue helicopter and have a laugh at how the other trucks crash into the accident site and the cars turn into ghosts that just pass through the accident site. since I have a past as a long-distance driver in the real world, I have a lot of suggestions for little things that would make the whole simulation a more seamless experience. but then I'm also aware that you then distance yourself a bit from the idea of getting out and driving a big car, as that would require our avatar to be able to get out of the car and interact with the local area and then we're probably talking a game there going to fill 100 gigabytes + the loose
There was only cruise control a long time ago. now only there is adaptive cruise control which means the truck's cruising speed varies depends upon the traffic in front of us.
It was, and it was horrible, when you overtake and drove front of someone who is not even too close, your brake are kicks in almost to stopping point. I don't know now how it works
Couple of features you listed I didn't know about or know where to find them. Will have to take another look through the settings. As for road events, love them personally - I even like the detours, HOWEVER I have detours very low on about 3-5% as I do find them a pain because sometimes they are in a position where you have to do 150km round trip (especially if you can't sneak past them, which you shouldn't) if they were more side roads and connections they wouldn't be a problem and i'd increase the %.
Detours are a pain in the ass, but in a good way. The thing about simulators is that its supposed to be as realistic as possible, and sometimes that means the boring stuff. Even though its boring and a pain in the ass, it adds to the game when it comes to realism, and thats what i play simulators for, the realism. So i hate detours ingame, but love it as a gamefeature, if you know what i mean.

I'd love to see cats eyes in middle and sides of roads that are not lit up
2:22 it is sometimes annoying. I once was in a traffic for 30 minutes before I realised that the roadwork ahead closed one lane and traffic from my side got stuck with oncoming one and would not move.
I use the advanced coupling since 2016
Glad u get this account up to over a 100k followers, hope u don't lost it like the old one
If adapative cruise control and lane keeping assist both added to game that would so cool..
for me it is cool that you can browse the different types of cargo, and even the companies, so I can choose to work for certain companies that way. :)
Great video!
Thank you buddy
I have the air brake thing enabled, but I had almost never needed to stop and let the engine rev at high speed to fill it up.
G'day Milan,
I use advanced trailer coupling & rough roads.
Have you noticed that now every now & then you get Gearbox crunching noises shifting gears?
That's your gearbox wear
@@EuroTruckDriver365не совсем верное,это не неверные обороты при переключении, это ещё в 1,47 заметно было😅
G'day @@Dikiy_Krolik since 1.47 is interesting as I'd not noticed it before, wondering do you drive Manual?
I drive Realistic Auto & only noticed it since installing 1.49 Beta
I'm Brazilian for sure. I really enjoy your videos and it's a privilege to watch your videos, I wanted to ask you to make a difference from the ETS-2 PRO ATS, which one is better?
@@arashi8621 no ETS tenho 300 horas no ATS 30 horas
Modern trucks feature hill descent control , anti-lock braking system etc in ETS2 ?
The only features I have off, is Air Brake simulation and de-tours, everything else I have on.
Awesome video 👍😀
Besides all, new West Balkans DLC is perfect visually but it drops the FPS to 1 very frequently and even the game stops in Singleplayer. It is just like the condition in Multiplayer's Duis-Calais railroad crossing in heavy traffic. I drive in France-Spain-Scandinavia and UK to avoid the FPS dropping. This problem must be solved a.s.a.p.
auto lights and beams on and off is great to have too cause u know u can drive with night full
beams on and if rhey see car or anyrhing it will
auto on and off thats one of usefull ones if u tired turning them on and off
IMHO uneven surface adds invissible bumps on the road which add additional realism, but using a low trailer like the low loader, might make it glitchy
@@adarob92 my truck behavior is not the problem, but traffic not being affected by bumps is.
I don't really like the adaptive cruise control. Firstly it's not like I need to use it when playing a video game, cause I can just overtake, secondly, it doesn't work very well i.e. it makes you stop instantly when bedding towards a road narrowing
something simple is missing in the game: tyre punctures due to wear.
Yeah, i would really like this, because it would add to the realism.
Plus, i think that even with newer tires, they could get punctured depending on where you go (for example, if you start driving very fast on a bad road, something could puncture the tire(s)), and the game give you the option to either fix the tire, or buy a new one.
@@felipeferreira00 I agree
i dont think they would implement this because of the DLC's such like michellin it could give them a bad reputation if their tires would puncture.. it would damage the brand, thats why u dont see damage on vehicles aswell.
@@Dani-kg3pu imagine if only non Michelin or Goodyear tyres have punctures. The feature would be in the game and promote the brands.
Then have to wait 2 hours for a technician to arrive 😂
for some reason, ACC doesnt work well for me - it'll slow down for a truck thats braking for an exit thats so far ahead i cant even see the truck
is there some setting i'm missing?
Hi, in settings you can choose the active distance for Adaptive Cruise Control
Good video👍
I use Daniel Random Road Event & Adaptive cruise control in my ATS & ETS2
Do we still need daniels randome road event now it's in the game? does his add more event types?
@@harag9 Yes if you want realism experience like me did
@@agungputronugrohoExcellent. I've installed it again. I use to have it when I played a while ago, just been updating all my mods to work with 1.49.
I've used them all but I keep advanced coupling and random events because the others made me lazy
I had to switch off the advanced trailer coupling after it wouldn't couple at all, someone said it was to do with mods making the trailer too high still don't quite understand just know it wouldn't work.
Cum ar fi ca atunci cand ai o cursa unde transporti pietriș sau mașini sau altele sa ai o animatie cum esti incarcat si daca vrei sa poti sa ii dai si skip normal:)
Nice video
3:46 what sound mod you used?i like this engine sound
how do you get those engine sounds? sounds more bassy
I personally think adaptive cruise control is definitely one of the best, especially on motorways/highways.
I also use Advanced Trailer Coupling but i personally absolutely hate tire screeching.
If you drive like a normal and sane person, there wont be any tire screeching :)
Hit the parking brake at 90 kmh, of course there is gonna be screeching.
can you tell me how to enable the random events without changing your route and the wipers
Which of the mods is used for car congestion?
What mods do you use for the catwalk for scaina can’t find it
2:38 so realistic
ACC does not work properly with the advanced Air system. If i release ACC after a sequence of slowing down, the Air system ist empty...
For some reason automatic wipers doesn't work for me. Any idea why?
Random Road Event yes, but without Detour 😅
🤣😅
Wonderful content, this graphic preset is free rashade
O carro da GNR na thumbnail❤
Nós tugas temos pinturas mesmo lindas
Verdade 😊 Por acaso, agora que falas...
Yes I hate the detours, but only, and I do not know if its because I'm using a years old save and not something fresh, because they literally happen every single mission I drive. Its too often. And always happening at roads where no easy detours are available.
What version you're using
i think tire sequeaking sound is bit too light for massive truck
It's a pity that the adaptive cruise control on TruckersMP doesn't work
👀 Oh really?
great!
are automatic wipers truck specific? i have rain sensor On but they never come on when it rains ...?
I think it is for all trucks 🤔 But after you activate the setting you need to put the wiper's level on position 1. That is how you activate it
@@MilanTrucker Thanks
Is there a way to get rid of the tyre screeching?
I dont think Ill ever use the adaptive cruise control as I go fast as possible
Well.. in that case 😅
Hello! I turned off the air brake simulation.....2 times my truck goes full break at full speed on the highway....if i am full speed...its not possible to run out of air! 2 times i had to wait ( on the highway ) to fill up air again....not realistic to me
I don't know the last feature what is that use ?

Bro which is the best website to download mod for ets2
Radio is cool feature
What is sound mod on Renault Range T?
cool!
so if the game is really going to give us real challenges, then I guess we should also be treated as AI people. i.e. if we drive in a wreck we must be picked up by the ambulance and if it is only the car that is damaged we must wait to be picked up by the recovery vehicle and should the actual clearing of the accident take place in a realistic time, so if we hold back for the blockade it will be lifted after an appropriate time and not like now, when you sneak past the accident and the rescue helicopter and have a laugh at how the other trucks crash into the accident site and the cars turn into ghosts that just pass through the accident site. since I have a past as a long-distance driver in the real world, I have a lot of suggestions for little things that would make the whole simulation a more seamless experience. but then I'm also aware that you then distance yourself a bit from the idea of getting out and driving a big car, as that would require our avatar to be able to get out of the car and interact with the local area and then we're probably talking a game there going to fill 100 gigabytes + the loose
Isnt it adaptive cruise control already there long long time ago?
No, it was recently that it was added.
@@clubvillain no it was long time ago i use it before this update lol
@@Riskw-mk1lo yes ik adaptive cruise control is but it was exist long time agoo
ACC and special transports 😊
Ah yes! Special transport. Fogot that one
Aurora & weather effects
It would be nicer to mention how to activate any new features added. Thanks
Thanks for the feedback. I will do it in the next one!
Where do I download the air brakes?
You cant download. Its already in game. Check gameplay settings in game
The automatic wipers and headlights don't seem to work for me on ets2 or ats anyone else have the same issue?
I absolutely hate this feature but I see it's uses for alot of ppl personally I just like tailgating em
😅🤣
How to use air brake manual ?
Where i Can Download This mods?
I really don't like ACC and EBS, they just make my truck do emergency braking everytime a car passes me
Where i Can Download this mods
ACC is the best feature imo.
Very good one!
