I love how Kale was literally the responsible of his downfall, if he never threw the iPod away to accidentally land on Chai , he would've successfully captured the squad and gets rid of them
Literally none of the story would have happened if he didn't throw the MP3. Chai would have gotten a normal robotic arm and the story woulda been peppermint doing things on her own.

i loved roqueforts transformation - cause it was litteraly Beethovens 5ths symphony in sync with everything and the final DUN DUHHHHH was on his howl

HOLY SH*T THAT 808 FIGHT WAS SOMETHING I DIDN'T EXPECT, Hi-fi rush is such a good game
i wish it wasn't a big deal but... the songs with streamer mode off are fricking amazing, especially the penultimate stage where it plays Whirring, i didn't get to play it yet but i saw a friend of mine playing it and i legit teared up listening to that song.
Was gonna mention this, streamer mode off has perfect song selection.
It came out of nowhere, but I had the same reaction. And Prodigy playing for the cafeteria fight was crazy epic.
Yeah I was gonna say the same. I also just like in general that it fits with the theme since it's a music player in his heart so to have licensed songs just fits perfectly.
Honestly, I’m a bigger fan of the Hi-Fi Original songs for streamer mode. I’ve played the game both ways and I just enjoy the original tracks way more for whatever reason.

1. I love Kale is trying to be a serious villain ,but he's just super done with everything while also being a coffee addict.

Yeah, kind of wish they didn't recycle the, "evil corporation attempting to mind control the world with implants starting with a small community of isolated people used as test subjects" from the second game though.

There was clearly a lot of love and passion that went into making this game, full of charm and flawless gameplay, a great story and some of the dopest cutscenes, loved watching you play it and I look forward to what you do next :)

Absolutely loved the game. Honestly there were people giving it shit for being short, but I think that worked for the game. It got in, did what it needed, then got out. There wasn't really any filler, and personally I equate to something like MGR. A short game, but one that's extremely enjoyable and something to come back to every now and again.
Both this game and MGR are character action games. They're supposed to be short and replayable.
So Roquefort is the wolf of Wall Street haha this game was too sick. I really enjoyed watching you play this one.

The bosses replaced so much of their bodies with tech that they explode when they receive critical damage. I'll say it's that instead of me killing them. Shame...I wanted that Wolf suit or Mimosa's dress for myself.
Even Zanzo? Chai didn't even do much there, just slaps him into a wall.

Myth is criminally underated .....great game .....but its honestly made more fun by your commentary and gameplay ......i watch many streamers and youtubers ...and a good number dont know how to play games correctly ....but you always nail it right off the bat ...great work my guy ...keep the good content coming
that penultimate segment with The Joy Formidable's _Whirring_ was so good! Masterfully chosen, _and_ mixed for the stage's length, etc.
I like that they put time and effort into animating the robo cat cleaning herself
I have to say you dealt with the final boss WAAY TOO EASILY. I was playing on hard difficulty and most of the game was fine (would die like 4 times per level) but the final boss kicked my ass especially that last phase. 13 deaths.
The style of the graphics is called cell shading, games like Borderlands and jet set radio use it as well to add more style to their game and it looks great when done well
If this gmae doesn't make it into atleast top 5 this year, then I don't know what to think.

Well, i guess Persona 5 will not be continued on this channel. Last upload was 6 weeks ago.. :( Such a shame. I enjoyed those videos so much.
Definitely going to have to grab this game. Last rhythm based game I played was Patapon, haha. Also, I love how Peppermint was trying to sneakily get closer to Korsika in the truck at the end credits.
There is 8+8 spectra rooms , to found. Ng+ ,To master every technical moves.

Mimosa's bossfight was not great, but Roquefort's and Kale's ones were just a pure joy to beat.
The scene where Chai comes up with a plan to shoot himself out of a cannon had me in stitches.
This game is definitely a contender for 2023 GOTY and I can't wait for more games from Tango Gameworks
The difficulty seems to ONLY effect how much damage YOU take. How much damage you do stays the same.
I have to say the music was the highlight for me. All the licensed tracks were amazing and since I'm a fan of Rock I was jamming out the entire game.
No Straight Roads and Brütal Legend might also be up your alley, in regards to the Rock.
So I beat the game on hard mode by just spamming korsika and peppermint and running around just to realise how much you could parry. Oh well
This was really great, I havent seen a game with so much love poured in it for a while. Curious to se some of the extra content >.>

I'm currently in the middle of watching this video but I just wanted to say if you're looking for more games to play, I highly recommend looking into Neon White and hopefully you'll playthrough the game.

Funny thing regarding Roquefort: In Dutch, there's the expression "geldwolf" to refer to miserly and/or greedy people, and literally translates to "money wolf".
If this game had a Dutch dub (and good writing and choice in actors, then that would have been a PRIME pun.

Yeah I keep seeing a lot of people calling issue to killing Kale and the other bosses but at the same time they were genuine supervillain material especially Kale you generally don't leave them around to make a comeback if you can avoid it. That and each and every one was in for a fight to the death they were really just going to kill you for being in the way. Not to take murder lightly it is still at least a little bit fucked Peppermint having to kill her own brother and turning Mimosa to ash live on stage but again they were going to kill you otherwise. Worst part is Zanzo's injuries might not have been fatal.
Just my head cannon, Zanzo had head implants being those weird hair things, Chai gives him a real good whack on the head at the end and maybe the parts self destructed or just blew his brain up?

Enjoyed your playthrough. Honestly, I would do yourself a favor and play through the last 4 tracks not in streamer mode. The licensed music is perfect and really elevates a great game to amazing.

Im just at the part where you meet macarony and cinnamon. But i can already Tell in Gonna play this Game multiple times for extra dificulty because im already in the music industry and this is just right up my alley. Honestly its training my rythim and timing pretty well

Nice series, dunnu how long it took you to finish this and that's hella pain in editing. I took 11hrs in total (4 days) to finish this on Very Hard difficulty (spamming assist is really broken tbh) and I haven't touched the unlocked content like Rhythm Master which also sounds fun. The costumes are good too, what is good with costumes was you could combine em instead of full preset.
Also I really like Korsica accent. Nice conclusion, Chai is a third wheel, atleast he had a cat... Rockstar with a Cat, nothing else best you could wish for. 😁🎸
Took me 20hours since I spent a long time exploring every bit to see if I found collectable items and chips.
@@XKathXgames When I realize that you can't complete the whole stage yet, so I prioritize to progress the story first and kinda hooked up to it like any other story games I played, even better was this was like you are watching saturday cartoon... Kinda cheesy story but hey it's no different from anime shounen story tbh. Although the ending was kinda reminds me of *Tales of Zestiria* where the princess ended up with a rogue girl (forgot their names) and the MC just continued his journey. If this game was released 10 years ago nobody will call the story cringe.

finished the game with 15 hours on hard, went back to do the spectra doors did all the way to 16 but still haven't managed to do 16
Equip the parry energy chips and the chips that make batteries give more meter. Also the steal counter gives you tons of batteries so use that against the mini enemies after you take down the samurai in the start.
