I don’t paint, I don’t draw, I have absolutely no artistic skill whatsoever. But your video popped up on my page and I watched the whole thing. Beautiful painting 😊
The filming and production of your videos has become better since the last time I visited your channel. The painting is gorgeous, too. Keep up the great work! ❤
Over the past few months I have been impressed with you managing contrast and creative use of color. You present as more confident to take on more difficult challenges. Your knife work has become more pronounced. Great job with the devil’s mountain.
I went out to Devil's Tower many years ago to rock climb and camp. I was and still am a fan of the movie 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' too. They used to show that movie just about every night at the restaurant/store at the campground. There is something very special about that place. Just a beautiful area. Your artwork is an incredible representative of that beauty.
Very Nice Kaylee !!! Im sure you've seen Close Encounters Of The Third Kind?? I can't get torn away from the movie without seeing a UFO flying around Devils Tower , I LIKE YOUR VARIETY OF WORK
Kaylee, you are a fantastic painter! I've never seen a painting like your's before. The painting wasn't your typical nature scene with 1 huge tree, a river and highlighted bushes. This is very unique and one-of-a-kind. PS - I like the way you did your hair!
I was just at the Devils tower back on the 10th its absolutely mind blowing! I had no idea before I got there but it was a far more intense experience than I was expecting! The native American tribes in the are tie prayer bundles to the trees surrounding the tower and I found myself thinking about my mom who I lost beck in 2006. I'm sure your painting will be beautiful.
until i began watching on Tuesday's (which i fall asleep during, but i'm old hahaha), so i watch again next day but i used to be in such a rush to get a finished picture that i felt like i could do better and now i take more time to create - i always look forward to Tuesdays not just for tacos hahaha. have you or do you use liquid clear - i haven't had too much success with it even though i apply light coat and even wipe it down, how about you?
I used liquid clear on the Arctic Blues, that was the black canvas painting we did. I don’t use it as much as the liquid white, it’s a little stronger in the smell so I tend to use it less haha I’m so sensitive to the smells
Nicely done! The park ranger proudly invites climbers to climb up the mountain: "Over the 100-plus year climbing history at the Tower, there have only been seven climbing deaths."
They could've used your painting as a prop for the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, but unfortunately, I don't think you were born yet. lol. It was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. 👽🛸
I followed the tutorial from one end to the other, I was interested in the painting techniques you applied, and I really liked the result. I am amazed that a "self-taught" can create such works of art. I will continue to watch more tutorials as I have a lot to learn. I have two questions: what thinning medium do you use for paints; which are the most suitable brushes for oil paints, natural ones or synthetic ones?? Thanks in advance and good luck!!
Thank you very much. As for thinning mediums I only use the bob ross liquid mediums (liquid white, liquid clear, and liquid black. I do not use paint thinner at all - it’s been over three years since I bought any. I use my brush wash exclusively to clean and thin where the liquid materials are not enough.
I sure miss Bob Ross Kaylee , I used to watch his programmes in the 70 s he was just fantastic his style is amazing as like you have just shown you can have a finished masterpiece in less than an hour x
So you are doing Bob Ross 2024. So do you paint the painting 2 times like he did? It’s so obvious you are looking at the original as you go. So it’s definitely not spontaneous.
I do not paint it twice. These paintings are al one off. First attempt. One go single sitting. I usually am looking at my sketch I did on paper with pen
Absolutely beautiful painting. ❤
Thank you!
I think a touch of red in a few of the clouds personally Kaylee but it’s fantastic 👏👏👏👏
Red is a tough color to capture with the camera, if you could see it in person.. I think you will be pleased!

Hi Kaylee did you make your easel, because it's so cool with your easel and a light on the bottom tray.thats to smart and awesome
I bought my easel at Jerry’s Artarama. It’s the Sante fe II and I am using my pein air easel light to illuminate my pallet! I’m glad it’s working :)
another great work, thanks for uploading. One question; I live in Turkey it is possible to purchase your works online?
It could be? I would have to arrange some shipping for you but if you are able to pay , then yes! Email me kaylee@kayleerakowski.com
Monument Valley in early morning hours could also be great, Kaylee.
Ooo good call
Hi Kaylee,😘👍👍👍
How’s it goin?!
Just found channel good job~!
Hey, thanks! 😎
Very nice, Kaylee. The canvas looks square, not 18 x 24 - at least from this angle.
Interesting. It is for sure 18x24 :)

It’s based off of a real location.. so you can’t blame me for that one lol
