You look at what it costs HB to buy the raw steel , the energy it costs to run that factory, all the people that draw a Wage from working there. Even before a handle gets put on it and then to a retailer who gets there cut..... $150 for an axe in the right hands that can last a lifetime time is really not too much to ask ...quite cheap when you take it all in... Thank you HB for accommodating our two friends.
Not only that these things can and should be passed down generations as they make an amazing heirloom! imagine inheriting a chinese made shitty axe or going through your dads shed and finding one of these!!
Well said. It was absolutely amazing to watch. I was already sold on HB. Just seeing this solidifies the quality and craftsmanship. I'll be a customer of theirs for life!
Brother. You deserve this. You are an incredible person. Thanks a ton for thinking about us and taking us along with you. I know you think of others, but remember to just have fun.
Amazing video I have always wanted to see their factory. I absolutely love hultafors axes they are in my opinion the best in the world. If Hultafors is reading this please always keep doing what your doing because it just works! Great video thanks for taking us along
I can feel ya faster heart beat down to here - I'm sooooo happy that everything is running so well for all of you - THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for sharing - Mach Daddy
A big thank you to Hultafors, that was a rare insight to a fabulous and historic Swedish company, and well done for recognising such a powerful brand and letting it focus on what it has done so well for so many years. Thank you.
I worked and retired from Chrysler in which 9 yrs. was working in the forging plant making axels and other front end parts using large steam hammers and forging presses , so anything having to do with this this process peaks my interest . I could just as easily have chosen forestry or tree work or something along those lines if given the opportunity . Loving your channel from Indiana
Awesome Tour !!!!!! Thanks HB for your Hospitality shown to all of us here on the channel Eh. Special thanks to lenard and Knut for sharing your time and kindness ...🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
I have a hultafors bushcraft axe and it's absolute quality! It's small enough to fit in backpack and big enough for bushcraft skills aka chopping fire wood. Felling small tree's limming! If I had to by another axe. Hultafors all day LONG! Respect from U.K. 👍👊
Very cool that would be such an awesome place to see in person, the country is beautiful. I can't wait to see the Husqvarna factory! I have 3 huskies and a jonsered can't wait!
Hi Buckin. What a wonderful video. You did a great job and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Too bad we couldn't have seen more . What a beautiful place to work at. I mean the grounds were beautiful. The people were very gracious to show you around for half a day. Great people. Can't wait for the Husqavarna tour. Also thanks for Shawshank Tim for bringing you over to Sweden. You guys are having a blast.
Forging has always been really interesting to me!! Thank you fellas, for taking us along on the tour👍👌 I can't wait to get my hands on an arvika!!!! Love to you and the family❤️
Thank you, Billy, Tim & the whole Buckin army who pulled together to make this trip happen. And thanks for taking the time to visit HB during your trip, we're honored to have you both out. Safe travels
Sitting here giggling, chuckling and laughing to myself...it's sooo fun to see the excitement and interest you have for what you two, Lord Buckington and Shawshank, are experiencing on your way across Sweden. Really neat stuff to see how the axes are made, even though we can't see the whole process, which is understandable. Looking forward to your visit to Husqvarna!
Thanks Buckin. That looks like a cool place. So glad you got to take a tour. What a good bunch of people you had to show you around. Can’t wait to get my hands on an Arvika now for sure!!
Buckin, I am enjoying your trip to Sweden nearly as much as you are. A major portion of my ancestory is from Sweden and it has been interesting so many of the places you visited are places my ancestors resided in prior to migrating to the United States at the turn of the century. Have a great trip and adventure so we can follow along with you, it's fantastic! Nick, North West Farmer
That was awesome my friend,What an amazing place to be in,from start to finish those people are so nice and to give the whole history was much appreciated,I'm so glad you and Tim were there that was awesome and it all started with the water just like the tree's do..Thank you so much for that..Take Care..
Thanks again to Tim (Shawshank) for the inspiration to call our pal Buckin' away from Nanaimo to share this experience with him and ourselves. What a gift. Thanks also going out to the folks at Hults Bruk for their hospitality. Knuth, Leonard, Sven and anyone else who was a part of the welcoming team. We so greatly appreciate the opportunity to see not only history, but history in the making. To Billy I say thanks for taking us on this video tour. Much like you have thought of yourself, I would never have had the opportunity to experience this stuff. I'm not jealous, but thankful. This is an awesome experience and it's not over yet! Be Blessed!
Billy, You Tube friends that HB axe factory for my is mind blowing. Sweden great country. super video I enjoy every min .Meany thanks everyone doing this. Jacek UK
Enjoyed this video. Plan to visit Hults Bruk Axe Factory in about one week (mid June 2022). My great grandfather worked at the factory in the late 1880's into the early 1900's.
You are great. Welcome back. I live 800m from the factory often ride the trails around there on mtn bike. I really like your videos.Fantastic glowing person
What a Great Channel! I can be over there, over here, over there, over here, hear☺ lessons from yesterday help get me through the day! Great Stuff Ol' Buddy
Probably one of the best videos yet Buckin. I got an HB Atran for my birthday last year and always thought it would be neat to see the factory. Love the HB product and the brand is the definition of quality and pride in their craft. I will probably get another HB axe or maul. Can’t have too many! Definitely a cool video!
Looked like one heck of a tour guys. Thank you soo much for taking us along. Going to have to watch for Arvikas here now. I know mine has a date with some ash this weekend.
That was so interesting. As a tool and die maker I can really appreciate all the skill and craftsmanship involved with making these axes. I would love to buy one of these fine axes when it becomes available here in the States. Keep on buckin Mr. Buckin☺
Sphen just watched this for the 100 time but man i actually found a Hults bruk dealer a hour away from me in Louisville Ky and got to see there beauty up close. Needless to say i have 3 in my collection now!!!!
Hi Billy and Tim, Great job with the tour!!😁😁 Keep up the good work!! Take care and have fun!! I know I am!!😁😁 It's like I'm on vacation with you. Talk to you soon!! Your friend Al. P.S. no axes yet. If they don't show up today, I'll start checking on them on Friday.
Great job. The metal "persuader" was my favorite part. I was sort of hoping they'd give you a box of heads and you'd be able to offer a Buckin Arvika sale. I was sort of expecting a little Buckin' versus Shawshank chopping/throwing contest at HB though. Heading over to check out the other videos now. Thank you for sharing your trip with us!
Thank you so much for this vid. I was really ,realy looking hard, on the display board for this a axe but did not see it. ANCIENT NORTHERN EUROPEAN AXES GRÄNSFORS BRUK 2 lugged chopping axe 1.3 kg 73mm art 501 gransfors bruks . I just cant help my self I am 73 old and be dead soon but I keep buying axes, there must be a name for this condition 🤣 Thanks again Martin Canada
