Picked up a MAMACOO's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
My friend once said, “How many of the big customers are buying Rolex every week?” and that actually woke me up. No idea why all the AD will hoard stocks and say they are for their allocated pick-ups but most the time their stores are empty lol
I think many stores get better or worse items depending on the general income level of the population around it. On top of that they are sent stock randomly and the sales staff don't know what it will be. So eventually customers are just waiting for the roulette of whether Rolex sends their AD the piece they want and then assuming the AD sells it to "first come first serve". It can take over a year for some locations to get just 3 of a particular watch configuration.

You don’t really need an appointment to let them show you some Rolex watches at least i went there a lot and always got helped. Of course depends on the day and time. Maybe i was just lucky.

Sorry what issues are going on with Parmigiani Fleurier? Are you referring to the Sandoz family putting up the brand for sale?
They have spoiled the Seamaster's dimensions in the new ceramic model. The original moulded to the wrist and was more elegant. Yes I know, nato strap exaggerates the awkwardness on wrist.

The part about your dads buying history at 18:26 minutes in, was absolutely hilarious. That has to be such a bad AD, to make that kind of mistake and not even try and correct it. Surely they will have a record of serial numbers and purchase dates and with that info re instate his purchase history?
same story with the grandpa of my friend in cologne. Wempe couldn't find anything about their family profile anymore due to no purchase in a few years.
@@TheDubaiExpat Damn dude, sorry to hear about these experiences. I assume that due to data protection laws they can only keep data for a few years unless there is a reason for keeping it on a longer term basis. Hence why they would take the decision to delete it. However if that's the case you have to spend money at an AD to keep your data and buy history or give customers the option to opt in for Wempe to keep the data long term.
I've got to be honest when I say that I find it really hard to ever want to deal with AD's. I get these are select examples and even I've had good experiences with ADs however I can't bring myself to try that "experience" again just for them to miss or forget my purchase history.
Similar experience happened with my when I bought my Speedmaster back in 2021. WOS couldn't find my purchase history but when I showed them the receipt they added it to my account. Multi billion dollar company and this is how they treat customers.

either the meteorite daytona they put the wrong price, or that dial is a "3rd party" meteorite dial. its definitely not trading at 45k euros, even on secondary market. its too far off, like SUPER far off off.
