In a SHTF situation you must be very careful in anything you do, because there will not be hospitals. Advanced first aid is very important and having the supplies and knowledge how to use them.

Liquid IV also works great for digestive problems like vomiting and diarrhea due to stomach bugs and intestinal bugs by rehydrating you even if you are losing most of your liquids in you body for those reasons it will at least keep you somewhat hydrated.

You do not want to put ice on a burn. It may feel good at the time.

Hi there Tyler. I really enjoy your videos. I really liked your e-bike get home one. Anyway, this looks a lot like my corpsman backpacks. It’s a great setup and a great option for family or stabilizing patients prior to transport if there is any sort of event. I live pretty close to you. It makes your videos even more entertaining seeing sights near me.

Very cool. I’m a big fan of the “A bag” I assume the Delta bags I’ve seen are similar to the Corpsman bag. I tried to start there then add family, burn, and car accident equipment to my kit.

It's not but in the last 10years or so it has made a drastic change for the better. Credit goes to great instructors coming out of GWOT and pushing it during gun classes. No matter what, medical is still much Sexier than comms...😂

@@billydunn6390 watching what happens with the terrorist attacks in France really brought home how important medical kids are to me. Tons of people died for want of one tourniquet. Granted, there’s a whole other gun argument I don’t even want to get into that could’ve prevented it to begin with.

Please do not pack a gut wound with gauze unless you have no other option. Use a sanitized bag with a little bit of clean water around the interior walls of the bag.

There isnt enough gauze to seal a chest cavity. I don't think there is any major group teaching this type of training. It's always been chest seal for chest. Thats why packing is always for junctional.
