I just saw this concert in another city of this tour. Toto is simply amazing. Steve Lukather is on another level with his talent. The entire performance was tight. Superb. David Paich was performing with the band! Love it.
Dying on my Feet, WOW! One of their most underrated song, the thing is a masterpiece, and the central part and ending might be among the best things Toto have written. Very clever orchestration for the guitar harmonies at 19:35, too... These guys rock so hard.
Toto has always been a magical and amazing band, to this day, despite the unfortunate personnel changes, they still rock with the best of 'em...when it's in the blood, it's in there for good!!
Just taking a moment to acknowledge how great Joe Williams sounds! The band sounds phenomenal, of course, but we all know how most legacy vocalists sound now. Joe took care of his voice properly!
I agree but it looks like he didn’t take of his body . Him and Lukather are hardly recognizable. But their voices are incredible. But that’s life I’m just as portly as they are. So I’m guilty also. It’s growing old. Thanks
Don't judge them by the sound in a video taken on a mobile phone (I was also like that, having heard all those videos from recent tours), listen them live if u have a chance and u will see they still sound great. It's not the Toto from 1983, but still better live than any "younger" or "older" bands out there. And the reason is they always have top notch musicians on tour with them, and most of them played so long in Toto that they are considered as "Toto memebers" although they are not founding members.
Don t ya worry man, still great. Pretty refreshing though. Have seen them a dozen times between 1992 and 2022. It's been the post-Jeff-Porcaro phase. I was waiting for a gig of Toto since 1988 and when they were about to promote KOD in 1992, Jeffrey passed literally 4 weeks before the first show was scheduled. In parallel I was hooked by the drumming of Simon Phillips - so when Simon was asked into the band I couldn t believe it. What an emotional roller coaster. My preferred era was KOD and the return of the lost cowboy Mr Bobby Kimball in 1998...resulting in their greatest album (incl. Greg Phillinganes) FALLING IN BETWEEN, sadly to mention the last record with my bass inspiration Mikey Porcaro. I can say I am blessed to have seen that many shows with so many different line ups. Have missed them this summer, hope for next year. Encore Toto....❤😊
I was at this concert in cruces(the one you see before you), and let me tell you, that was the happiest I’ve seen my mom in a long time, she broke character and overall it was not just some concert, it was an experience worth wild.
I saw Journey there in 1981 when Loverboy was the warm-up. Journeys Escape Tour. I saw them with Toto in February 2024 on the MS Gulf Coast!! Awesome concert!!
The thing with toto is that their songs are so good through the decades that it's fun to hear a good line up of musicians performing them. Long live toto!!
I' ve been a true Toto fan since 1982, and I have seen them live 14 or 15 times. But I'm sorry, without David Paich, without even one Porcaro brother, this is not ToTo anymore. Just a great tribute band ...
Only 9 songs the full concert?? I have tickets for my country in November...a little bit disappontied with the duration. In 2007 the full concert was the duble in length and songs
No, I have the set list paper DIRECT from them at a show recent I was at. This is the Dogz of oz solo tour. Set list is 15 plus intros and drum solo and key spot. I think this show was Freedom tour though Toto opening for Journey. In that case yes, they don't play alot. Maybe 45min.
is it my idea or, just as they had recorded voices in the Africa chorus from 2000 to 2008, now Maggs' voices are recorded? I notice as if his voice is duplicated, especially in the first chorus.
eh, listen to him belt out 'girl goodbye' and tell me it doesn't sound very similar. when you have 5 voices that are nearly pitch perfect, you're going to get a flange effect.
Those are live backing vocals. Adding Warren Ham and Steve Maggiora have been great additions in strengthening their vocal mix. They also know how to blend well with the great Joseph Williams.
That's why you shouldn't view a concert through one lens. the sound is bad and not worthy of toto. TOTO? more like Toto revival Band. Or better, "Toto's voice and guitar"
Unfortunately this is actually how they sound now. I was recently at a Toto concert and noticed that Joseph Williams is really struggling with his voice. He has problems maintaining pitch and relies on back up singers way too much.
Ya, they should just call it a career and go home. Seriously, this is about the fifteenth Toto touring lineup. It’s always been the tour of the willing. Very early on Steve Porcaro decided he wanted to go a different direction. David Paich took a long sabbatical when his sister became ill. Toto is like Steely Dan in that everybody who’s anybody will give their left nut to play with them. So long as Luke wants to be on the road, there will be a devoted following.
Keeping apart an arguable quality of the video, it’s a shame the ugly voice of Joe Williams. Nothing to share with Bobby Kimball, he was The Voice of the band.

Never thought I would hear this song live. The album version is excellent but this is a treat regardless.
Toto has always been a magical and amazing band, to this day, despite the unfortunate personnel changes, they still rock with the best of 'em...when it's in the blood, it's in there for good!!
Thank god they let Greg sing, he helped write the mastrerpiece Falling in between

@54lex They're both in their 60... Give 'em a break! Cheers ✌️

Thanks for posting. What app did you use for those opening titles?
TOTO SOLO ESTA RESTANDO EL GRAN STEVE LUKATHER, PERO ES UN SUPER GUITARRISTA, TREMENDO MUSICO QUE CONSIGUE CONSERVAR LA ESCENCIA DE TOTO
Hello friend, spectacular video, which cell phone did you use to film it? Thank you for the answer.
Que vengan a Peru
*No es Toto sin Mike, Bobby, David & Simon...*
Sounds great, who is playing kit here? I don't think it's Sput this time.
Shannon Forrest is back!

Did you record the full show of journey also?
Yes bro, but due to a failure on my phone I lost an hour and a half of recording, I hope I can recover and upload it, thanks for watching
Thank you for sharing. Some people will bitch regardless
Lukather not singing backup vocals?
I am legitimately bummed. I basically missed their US tour 😢😢😢
They are still touring the US.
@@elishevajones6730 ahhh ok. Thank you. Looks like all that is left in the US is in NY. 🤷♀️ Darn it!
The Steve Lukather Band
Why not? He’s a legend.
Where’s the brass section?? No trumpet, no trombone🤭
The singer and Don Dokken look like identical twins. Same exact stage clothing from head to toe.
Look at the concerts from 15-20 years ago and this makes my cry. Not good!
It’s a different band now.
Gotta tune down and go slower when you get older
Better than late Kimball era. Kimballs voice went in the early 2000s.
Backing vocals too perfect-probably on a track.
Those are live backing vocals. Adding Warren Ham and Steve Maggiora have been great additions in strengthening their vocal mix. They also know how to blend well with the great Joseph Williams.
Nice cover band

Get over it

@@paulj.ingram2839 I'd love to see Toto with the musicians they have now and hire all new vocalists.
In the meantime, there's more than enough of us who enjoy every minute of this. Peace

Muito ruim esse vocalista do toto
BAD SOUND THE TOTO MAGIC IS MISSING.
Horrible vidéo.
