I mean it's Engineering Computer Science, not Accounting or Marketing. 200k to 500k is very common for high level engineers in tech.
@@TheAPI Yup ! Principal and staff engineer at these companies make 700k-1.5m. Netflix tends to pay in that range
Software engineers complete tasks and upgrades on applications to improve reliability.
He is in the weeds.
Way out of his swim lane.
You took the words right out of my mouth. This guy is mentally ill. if you lose a $500,000 a year job, something’s wrong with your mental faculty for sure.
You’re not security. Do your job.
I’m in the Army, I’ve broken and torn stuff in me. But never complained about it. My pops served 22 years in the army ran on a broken foot for 5 years. It’s sad what has become of our people, we used to take pride in. How hard we were the hardest workers in the room, first one in and last one out. But now we are getting fired, for being needy, cry babies. You need god, or a role model you’re not a man homie. Definitely raised by a single mom, or by grandma. 😂😂😂
500k I’ll be pet guard dog lol
Lol id wear a scooby doo outfit and bark all day for that 500k
I'll wear a gahdamn monkey suit to work for 500k
My first employer told me to remember this: you are on a need to know basis! We will let you know when you need to know!
Getting on the Internet crying, good luck finding anotherone
I can't stand dudes like him!!
Why 😅
he sounds like the dude who micromanages you thru MS teams
After he initially saw that his line of questioning was not being well received, he should have backed down and got back to work. But the fellow was making half a million a year, so he could genuinely be disconnected from reality and living in the bubble that the elite live in.
The problem he had is that he didn't stay in his lane. Dude made himself more of a liability than an asset to StubHub, hence he was let go.
The Sassy is strong with this one.
😅😅 leave that boy alone 😅
That's why many of us say that college kids aren't being prepared for life in the real world. There are no safe spaces, and nobody wants to know how you're feeling.
This is why overprotected kids needs to go through a little something in life so when situations like this happens once they're older they would act accordingly and appreciate where they at lol
The world doesn't CARE about how a man feels in general.
Your parents, siblings, significant other, friends, therapist, all care about how you feel. A work environment is different. We are all dealing in shi*. We don’t want or need to care about how you feel. I’m sorry . The sooner you learn this the easier it will be to maneuver in this world.
He definitely got fired. His job hiring. His position is $ 275k annually.
half of million dollars gone because he wanted to act like reality star or something.
Not even that. Buddy thought that he was on the ethics board or a big time investor with millions of dollars in StubHub.
If security isn't your job, it's not your problem.
The guy on the cash register doesn't worry about how the burgers and fries are being cooked. His job is to take the orders, and collect the money.
If he is a software engineer, it is his problem. It's part of the software engineering lifecycle that requires security be built into all development phases, mainly so scammers and hackers aren't emptying our bank accounts every time we find a new cool app on the app store.
These people are unbearable
Just the way his mouth moved, told me everything i needed to know
@eboniemm1 you would’ve gotten annoyed with him huh
Half of that $500k/yr is equity at StubHub.
Probably more than that. Guarantee his base was
He cross the line ,letting this arrogant guy go is the best decision the StudHub did.His mouth will cost him greatly, know your place listen more talk less and do your job.
Sometimes you have to just mind your business and keep your head down
Yeeees!
True I should have done that I know now 😊
Seems he did in other ways 😮
@ 😂
0:22 idc about no work culture. I won’t even be in the culture 😂. Give me his job- A mid 20 year old broke BA student
Amen
His role was technical, not a program manager.
Yep. that is why he got paid $500k . BM make this type of money depending on their role. technology pays well.
I was waiting to hear something that would make me agree with the pertinence of his questioning. I heard nothing.
Then instead of just finding a new job. he does this and makes his future harder . Smh 😂
$500K you wouldn't hear spit from me other than gotcha on it right now.
What’s his position, my husband can apply!😂
Software Engineer lol tell him don't mess it up
You could apply! This man doesn't have a wife, girlfriend or best friend to set him straight!
@matthewprince9705 you sure kno much bout him
Seriously, this is why I love your content. You ask the right questions
Always a sassy dude getting fired from these great jobs
Bill Belichick: “Do YOUR JOB.”
I would park waaaay in the back.. quiet at EVERY group meeting... Eat lunch alone.. n shut my complacent mouth up!
So you’ll do anything for money right? 😂 lmao weakkkk
@@392DirtBallMan, these comments are unbelievable. The stuff that people would do for money.
@@CoolF-jd7rr There’s nothing wrong with going to work, doing your job (and focussing on actually (actually) being good at it), getting paid a fuck tonne of money and going home to enjoy your great life outside of work paid for by your good work. That doesn’t make you a sucker…
Following the herd into bitching a moaning whilst being lazy and living a dead life because you wanted to “stick it to the man” in some menial way makes you a sheep as much as towing the company line and cracking on to build a great life for you, your family and the next generation…
I see it like this
-If they don't ask me for my opinion/ I'm not giving none/ if they ask yea that sound good
-clock in / and clock out / mind my business
-it's not my company
- start your own business, they giving you half/million you must be good at what you do
- stop coming on social media, today's generation
-collect your paychecksssssss
In my Anton voice, "You a fool!"
I bet his broke.
When you get to a certain company like StubHub they typically shut you down from having your nose in other departments. You stick to your department and that’s it. Do your job. Don’t ask for info that’s none of your business.
$500k as a software engineer??? Why are you questioning their decisions?? They paying you well. Probably too much! That's all that matters. Go in, do your job, and mind your business... F*** them tickets and the customers! He acting like he work in HR...
He's an Engineer in STEM. A high level Engineer at that. 500k is not difficult to come by and very common amongst high level Engineers in Tech spaces. If he's that good, he will find another place that will be comparable. Yes, what he did was absolutely foolish but again, he's an Engineer $$$$$
“Ain’t no such thing as getting fired from a half a million dollar job”. That is a bar, need to make that a quote on the wall.
This new generation of workers are a shame lol they're being led to believe they can just openly question, and complain about everything. He definitely overpaid if he doesn't have the sense to know when to just be quiet, do your job, go home, and live your life 😂
This man is asking the questions that the C-suite executives ask. These are board room questions ABOVE YOUR PAY GRADE!
This is why they banning TikTok now... people just don't know how to STFU these days?!!!
Why are you worried about stuff that doesn't involve you or your job title?
He should be fired! SMH 🙄😒
And he still question ing. After. Getting. Fired
If he had concerns about their practices, he should start his own company
If his questioning was inline with his ability to actually complete his job… then he had every right to ask those questions.
it appears it wasn't. he should have moved on once his manager was not interested. Why some decisions were being made, was likely above his level, they hired him to play his part as an engineer, not challenge the direction of the company.
Right up to the point where his bosses told him to stop it.
There is obviously something this guy isn’t telling us. To get fired just for bringing up concerns about Customer service is not the full story. My suspicion is he offered more problems than solutions on the teams he worked with. When you care more about being right, then actually getting the job right you get fired.
Preach on brutha!!! ✊🏽
Seems like he was focusing on that other stuff and NOT doing his job. I've discovered that companies don't mind you finding gaps in their processes, as long as you're knocking your duties outta the park. Buddy was probably using the gaps he found as an excuse to why his stuff wasn't getting done, when his stuff had nothing to do with the gaps 🤣
They pay him 500k to own him not for him to think he on the big bosses level his job was to stfu
Instead of making videos he should be trying to get his job back.
He can't get his job.
He needs to get another job.
Now he can't because he mad this stupid video.
@@traviscarter1023 Ofc he can
Single mom vibes? When did dudes get story time?
Black People, I hope you know A LOT of your family members and friends are making money THIS BIG. they just do not want to tell you, because they know you will beg for money.
facts I dont mind helping I just dont want people crying or throwing shade in a way that im obligated to help them constantly
🎯
Forreal. Im on my way up there. Kickin it at $200k annually. See if I can get to $350k in the next few years. I let em know cause they know they not getting anything from me 😂
🧢. If you’re an employee making over 500k yearly, you’re within the highest 1% earners in America. You really think the average black person has a family member making 2 millions in 4 years and the close relatives really think their making 60k a years. You’re delusional
It is crazy out here. People are entitled, incompetent, and burned out all at the same time.
😂 these companies are cleaning out anything DEI related, especially since they can hire HB1s for much cheaper. There’s nothing he was doing that can’t be replicated with A.I. and short cross training some Indian intern for…
true thats probably why he got fired
Making 500k and STILL complaining. You just can’t satisfy BP.
Now he is making $0. Bro you are an Engineer do your Job and go Home with $500k an idiot.
AI is coming after everyone’s job in the tech industry.
Not really there’s certain jobs where it helps people not replace
@ you better look into it more. Companies will be creating AI agents which will provide the same support as a whole call center. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.
@ the call center is fine but I’m talking about the harder jobs like cybersecurity and stuff especially since now’s there Ai but companies are still getting hacked lol
AI is far from ready for that. Most of them can't stop models from executing rogue practices to preserve itself when attempting to do AI updates.
@artsXart cnn just reported 41% of companies worldwide is planning to reduce the workforce due to AI. It’s happening and the people in denial are the ones who will inevitably be replaced.
This dude was doing a job that had nothing to do with him.. Jesus Christ.. he fumbled the bag Bigtime... and then going online to talk about it.. looking for sympathy, kudos? Dafuq? Come on, maynee...
Zesty sassy man baby behavior
$500,00 dollars? I could care less what decisions are being made. As long as I am getting paid, being respected we good lol. I'd quit the company 10 years later and retire.
If I'm making $500K I could care less about the culture or environment just run me my PAYCHECK, how the FK you fumble the bag like that bruh and btw good luck finding a job that pays that salary 🤦♂️🤦♂️💰💰💰
Might not be all that cool w my boss but whatever I'm rich bih😂😂😂
Wouldve sat and just ate my food😂😂
