Regarding the Penitent, my read on it is that it can only fight a maximum of twice but if she's been whipped then *both* fight actions are free. This means the previous edition Penitent strategy of whip, charge, fight, throw a krak grenade is still doable.

Thanks! Not really a priority watch for me, but it sounded like this vid needed a bit of love 😉 (I do watch most of the Underworlds/etc vids, but don't always finish them every time, to be honest)
i believe the penitent does give you 4 fights. you fight. it gives you a second for free. (i think the cannot perform consecutive prevents you from just using this free second fight to keep performing additional fights from this rules free fight). you then get your exactor free fight, and then because you fought, get to perform another free fight
Playing Death Guard into Militarum... it just seems like 7 wound models generally get one shotted. That’s what makes me wonder if Medics are that great unless they can actually resurrect a model.
Mm, but you can half damage on one dice on an objective, and use faith to manipulate another dice, and heal between bolter shots. So you have a decent chance to survive I would have thaught.
I’m looking forward to Underworlds content. I have zero experience with the game, so sometimes watching videos from “experts” is frustrating because they assume the audience has a basic level of understanding, which I lack.
I might do a very simple how to play, but Glass Half Dead has done a good one (I think its on his weird second channel, Tactical Skew) There is also a good one on the official warhammer youtube.
It’s a tempting team to try out, but I think it would take a fair amount of time to get proficient. My brain has shrunk over the decades and elites are just easier to play.
@@TabletopImpulse dislike the decreased lethality and increased survivability all things. Dislike the watered down acts of faith. Dislike the lack of special weapons/shooting options (used to be ok with old ploys) they overhauled the team and I don't like the playstyle, had much more success in the previous ed.

That might be how it works!

Glad you enjoyed! Thumbnails are hard!
17:50 you are quite correct IMO, I can see no good reason to drop the Medic.
And yet, I think I want those flamers. But Who to drop?
@@TabletopImpulse easily the exactor and the duelist

It's being re-released in an updated box, goes on pre-order on Saturday.

Interesting, do you find you have more then enough faith points?

Yeah, this is true.
disappointed with the changes to the team in this edition
Can I ask why? They are widely tipped to have been buffed.
