I got one of those 2019 Rebel 500 as my first entry level bike and I love it. It fits me well since I am not 6 foot tall, runs very well, very light weight and maneuverable in city riding
The real advantage harley has over most other brands is their service dept. Not that their mechanics are overly better or cheaper. But in that it doesnt matter what year harley you own they will wrench on it. Honda wont touch anything older than 97-99 depending on the dealership. This means that unlike harley if your not mechanically proficient and dont have a full set of tools do do everything your bike will ever need done to it then well buddy your bike has an experation date. I havent seen a harley dealership refuse to service or do repairs big or small on any harley. My dad owns an old 70's model harley and he can ride it but doesnt get around all that well and his local HD dealer is more than happy to keep it rumbling along.
Welcome to my channel and Thanks for sharing your personal thoughts. Hopefully, dealerships of other brands will adopt the HD approach, though many people love servicing their bikes , not everyone has time to teach themselves basic skills of a mechanic and spend lots of time on repairs.
Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews the other thing is some people like those of us that have disabilities which prevent us from being able to do services or major repairs on our own bikes. Both me and my father are disabled vets and just cant do repairs or major services (think replacing fork seals or swapping out springs etc.) ourselves. This means having to find a shop to do the work. My father doesnt have to look any farther than his local HD dealership. I on the other hand own an 85 goldwing limited and the dealsership wont touch it due to its age. And alot of the independent shops will rip you off and mess up other things when they are supposed to be fixing it. For the older bikes it seems the only good reliably decent places to take an older bike like mine is restoration specialty shops which of course cost a crapton more than even a dealership would charge.
aj Ferguson that is def not true.... Harley Davidson only works on current gen bikes....while there are local guys whom will wrench on older bikes....the older bikes are refused due to parts and cost vs. rates
@@jmcelroy4872 my dad has never been refused at his local HD dealer and he rides a 70s model. (Im not that familiar with HD models so im not sure which one he has)
Thanks for the video. My dream moto is Honda Rebel. As 1st bike. I had never think about motorbikes, but few weeks ago woke up with strong wish to drive a one. My friend said: "i want the same" and bought old Dragstat. Wife said: "u are crazy, think about our family etc.." So, I'm on right way...
Riding a motorcycle doesn't mean putting one's family at risk. Be safe, ride on and enjoy your life. However, make sure that you receive proper training before getting on a motorcycle. The Rebel is a great beginner bike, you will have fun riding it. Take care
Well, it looks like Igor is just beginning his riding career and is not aiming for the title of a serious rider, so the time being the Rebel should be more than enough, don't you agree?
The Honda Shadow Aero 750 is a great motorcycle..the engine runs well, the seat height is perfect for female riders 5 ft and shorter...shaft driven with plenty of get up and go...
Thanks for the suggestion. Btw, sorry for jumping in with a question, but how many female riders are there in your community? Will a video about motorcycles that perfectly suit females do well?
Suzuki Boulevard c50 also a great bike. Great for beginners and experienced alike, i have a c50 and an HD street glide and for long trips i take the harley but in town, backroads just cruising around im on the c50
Some reason i got an 87 v65 magna. Neighbor had it and took care of it very well. Much more power than guys who don't know what it is think when they see it. Sooo smooth. All I need for 2500 bucks.
Motorcycles are enjoyed by many for their versatility. There are so many styles and classes that any fan of two-wheelers could find his own. Cruiser motorcycle style is one of the most popular and favored ones, especially among fans of American bikes. This video can become your guide to choosing the best cruiser bike. Which one would you pick for yourself?
Why not? It looks like a rather comprehensive list of bikes. You watch this video, find out what models are out there and what their tech specs are, and then you move on to more detailed reviews of the bikes you liked.
Triumph Thunderbird storm could definitely have been here. It's styled modern and is a powerful 1700 cc cruiser that costs less than the Triumph rocket. I prefer the looks of it over rocket too
I think Honda's line up was best between 1998 and mid 2000's after which it discontinued the USA made F6C and shortly after their stunning VTX1800. Both of which in my opinion were leaps and bounds in front of any other cruiser style motorcycles available at the same time. Some would argue that in many cases they still are.
Welcome to our channel! Thank you for your comment. Where would you place Honda motorcycles of today? Maybe their lineup is not as good as it could be these days, but do they manage to stand their own against the competition these days in your opinion?
My pick? It would have to be the Vmax 1700. I owned a Vmax 1200 and liked it a lot (should have never sold it). Nothing like the V-boost when overtaking a fast moving logging truck!!!
I kinda feel the adrenaline and hesitation already, when thinking about overtaking that logging truck, lol. What bike to you ride today? Something more humble than the Vmax?
no mention of the Honda Shadow... heart was broken completely till the honorable mention at the end.. but still, the shadow is a cruiser staple. 1,100 CCs of easy, ridin.
I currently have a cbr 600. It fun and crazy fast but can be uncomfortable for long rides, I’m planning on getting the Honda rebel 500☺️ I think it’s a stunning bike imo it’s the nicest one here. The reason I want it is because it will be a better daily commuter than my cbr and I also want to put knobby tires on because there are times I travel on dirt or gravel roads and let me tell you a super sport is scary on dirt or gravel😳 so I’m planning on making a nice custom scrambler build out of the rebel what do y’all think?

Hey, Honda! If your representatives happen to visit this channel and stumble upon this comment, both Automotive Territory Channel and Mr. Scott Elmore, demand for the iconic 750 Magna model to be reintroduced to the market!
I worked for a Honda dealer 1984-1985 and when the 1100 Sabre arrived, (same engine as the 1100 Magna) I rode it. And was terrified of it. Most powerful launching beast in 1985.
Glad you liked it! And if you heard that phrase, it means that you watched the whole video! Much appreciated! Make sure to check out my other videos about electric motorcycles.
Welcome to AT! Thank you for taking your time to leave a comment! IMHO it is hard to compare the two. Rocket 3 Roadster is leaning more to the sports cruiser side, while the Dark Horse is borderline touring bike. You should definitely consider your personal preferences and riding needs while deciding which one is best for you.
Hi, Jean. Apologies for taking so long to respond. I have just found the comment. No, these bikes are not good for beginners. Way too much weight, power and too expensive. Consider something below 500cc, better used bike until you become a proficient rider. Take care
hey, im new to biking and im currently considering getting a Triumph SpeedMaster but the indian scout looks pretty nice. im just wondering what your opinion is of the two and which one sounds better, performs better and wont need much done to it earlier down the line.
Hi there. Since you are new to motorcycling, I would say you shouldn't be looking in the direction of these two. Price is the major concern, plus the engines are overpowered. I would suggest more humble variants like Honda Rebel 500, Kawasaki Vulcan or Yamaha Bolt, and buy them used to save money and get more familiar with the Moto world. However, prior to buying the first bike, I strongly urge you to attend the motorcycling school and master to perfection small 125 cc bikes. Hope this helps
I ride a Honda Shadow Sabre 1100 and love it. Problem free riding after 30,000mi. I love all kinds of MCs... but prefer mid-size bikes and I must say I am very attracted to the Indian Scout. They also have a bobber that looks cool. Thanks for the info.
Glad you liked the video! Check out also our lineup of electric motorcycles, cheapest electric moto and maybe the fastest models. Some cool bikes there, too
Bonneville Bobber aka the hipster bike. I've been on one and yeah it has decent power, just can't ride it for more than 15 minutes cuz it's uncomfortable as all hell
Thanks for sharing your personal experience. Would you say that this bike is uncomfortable only for you due to your personal preferences or body complexion, or is it an uncomfortable bike altogether?
If your physical strength allows you to handle a machine like this and you spend a considerate amount of time practicing or probably working with an instructor, then it might work out for you. Still it would be nice to talk it over with your instructor. It's never a good idea to underestimate a machine. Especially for a first-time rider.
Yes, this is partially what I mean. I think that a riding instructor will be able to give you better on the spot advice, as he will get much more information about you than me.
You've mentioned some pretty amazing bikes, but I will have to feature them in a separate episode. In this one I was aiming for the "under 20K" price category. Which one is your favorite from the presented lineup?
great taste. Consider checking out videos about electric motorcycles on my channel. Those are not as impressive, but they are getting there. I will also feature big classics soon, so you are always welcome to visit! Cheers!
"Ducati" and "Quality materials" should never be put in the same sentence unless that sentence is "Ducati doesn't use quality materials in their bikes"
I have ridden many bikes in my life. I had a harley sportster, then a ninja 650 and a r6. Got a r3 for a bit then sold it and got my Ducati monster 696. I will tell you out of all them i never had a problem with my monster. I notice that people that complain about ducatis have never even owned one
Thanks for the suggestions. These are also amazing bikes, but I only had 10 spots in this video and had to sacrifice some great entries. I guess this video is begging for a volume 2
Surprised that a Suzuki C50 boulevard wasn’t mentioned. A brand new one is only $8250 before tax. The bike is shaft driven so less maintenance work. Sure it’s not as fast compared to chain or belt driven, but it is a nice bike. For the cost, I’m surprised it wasn’t mentioned. As long as you maintain your vehicle and do it correctly, it still doesn’t matter which brand you get. Sure there are those weird moments that a vehicle randomly acts up, but it’s man made and isn’t suppose to last forever. If something is acting up, look it up on videos so you don’t have to spend an arm or leg at a dealership. Motorcycles are not that difficult to work on, but rather fun.
If you decide for going with the Street Bob, be aware that you may want to change the stock seat ;) (but honestly, most Street Bob owners would change the seat whether or not it is confortable enough)
Yes! I own one, and the stock seat was good for short rides, but after 30 minutes on the bike, it was uncomfortable... so I changed it for Harley's dual Sundowner and the problem is gone :) I've also read that Saddlemen seats are a great replacement option. I don't think that this is a big problem, because most riders also change their seats because of aesthetics, so a great percentage of Street Bob owners would change their seats anyway. On the other side, there is a small group of people that have no complaints on this issue.
I don't know where your prices are based from but here in Australia you would not even get a used model of any of those bikes for the dollars you quote as new price.Example a Triumph Rocket 3 around 2008 will cost $14000.
Welcome to our channel. Glad to meet people from all over the world. In this video I used the starting manufacturer suggested retail prices available on the official websites, the links are in the description. From the feedback that I get from Australian viewers, you do have very high prices for any products of auto manufacturing
Yeah, that’s because we have to pay the Australia Tax, where anything sold here has to be at least 20% more expensive than anywhere else for literally no reason.
pinay, the exchange rate is also a factor, I'm sure....Roughly 1.3 ASD to 1 USD; so a $10K-USD bike here in the states would stand you $13K-ASD, plus the taxes you mentioned. Do you know the tax rate? Is it 20%, or does that include the exchange? Also - is there an Oz-based motorcycle manufacturer? I like stuff from down under. (insert joke about riding "upside down" here!) ;-) All the best!
Appreciate your support! As for your choice between the two, you will have to test ride both and go with the more appealing bike to you personally, since both are great
I sure will do that. Need your suggestion on something. I am planning on an online store for premium custom made to each individual size in leather. Jackets, body suits, vest and gloves. In cow hide and kangaroo leather. Your thoughts?
Kangaroo leather sounds a bit scary, but in today's world any custom-made high-quality product will find its buyer. Just make sure that you keep your quality standards high, listen to the feedback from the customers and create a youtube channel and all of the social media (facebook, instagram etc) with demonstrations of your own products. Good luck with the new enterprise! When the business takes off get in touch with me, we will discuss promotion possibilities
To me, a cruiser has feet forward foot pegs to lower the seat and for looks. The Harley Softail was the first in 1986, to look like their famous 1936 Knucklehead with no back shocks. My cruiser is a 2002 Honda Shadow 600cc VLX that I bought new for $5,100- fun to ride, 60 miles per gallon stock, low insurance cost, known for going well over 100,000 miles before the junkyard, and a 4-speed transmission like the 1936 Knucklehead. Drawbacks are a lot of engine vibration above 60 mph, the stock seat is not comfortable, and the clutch takes some time to get used to for not stalling the engine from stoplights at low rpm to less abuse the clutch. I also have a smoother, more powerful inline 4 sportbike, and if I was going to buy new it would likely be a Yamaha MT-07 or Tracer 900 standard, or maybe a 500cc Honda standard, or Indian Scout Sixty cruiser for a lot more weight.
It saddens me that since the Ohio Marysville plant was shut down by HONDA USA, there are hardly any decent HONDAY motorcycles produced any longer. Where are new VTX, Valkyrie, Shadow ACE follow ups?!?
My Harley 1200 Roadster is by far my favorite bike, and I've owned and ridden many: Yamaha, Triumph, Honda, BMW, Suzuki. Nothing has the character, sound and feel of a Harley. But they are not for everybody. We get that, folks.
Thank you for your feedback! I hope, I didnt sound too biased towards any bikes, just wanted to tread lightly not to cause the usual storm in the comments. Everyone has his/her tastes, but often people just wont accept others opinion
No need to insult others. Let's have a civil conversation with valid arguments and facts. Plus why won't you accept the idea that some people just have different tastes?
Glad you didn't resort to blunt insults in return. Let's keep this conversation civil. Maybe Super Noob will come back with more argumentative comments.
Welcome to the channel! Appreciate the suggestion. It is a great suggestion, but we tried to steer between high prices and variety of different manufacturers, so the Breakout didnt make the cut. did you like the rest of the suggested cruisers? Do you ride the HD yourself?
I guess you can't include all the bikes, I do believe that the breakout does need a mention. I have been riding for 20+ years now.. but my 2014 breakout has been the best riding experience for me so far..
Thank you for sharing your personal experience. I am considering the volume 2 of this video where I will feature all of the bikes that I missed. Any other suggestions?
It's the price for the new bike and one of the best equipped models. Of course those can't be given away for free but compared to some other options, 18k is not that bad (also there is an option of getting a used bike, of course).
@@automotiveterritory About a year, I traded my Goldwing in for it and I tell people the Goldwing is about "I'm Faster than you" the Indian is about " I look better than you" :) it's extremely comfortable if you can afford one I highly recommend it
I am an Indian Scout rider and really don't believe I will every leave the brand. The Scout is my first bike and I don't believe that there anything on the market that is a better fit for me. I must admit, as a beginner rider though sometimes in certain situation the bike appear to be heavy for a beginner rider.
It is a great all rounder indeed. The looks match the great pricing, and the fact that even beginner riders can handle it is awesome. Do you ride one, btw?
@@automotiveterritory Well really they probably should have been split between large and small and that would go in the large half. I like them all and wouldn't replace any of them really.
I'm not a fan of bikes with a poor tire foot print. I'd take the Yamaha Bolt and the Kawasaki Vulcan S off of this list. The thing that gets me is that new riders are buying these rides and then finding themselves in trouble on the road...
Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to list some affordable models, since in the past I was criticized for listing o ly the top dogs, which cost too much for the audience. Though, I understand what you are saying, some of these smaller bikes could indeed lack stability and turn out to be underpowered on the highway
Thank you for stopping by. I do understand that the rivalry between HD and Honda bikers must be endless, but could you please share with the community and new riders, why you think Honda motorcycles are superior to HD. In advance, thank you for participating in the discussion!

Any of the 4 different Moto Guzzi 1400s could have been there. The v9 bobber has it all over the iron 883.
I didn't see the Yamaha raider there big power and torque also a great ride
Appreciate the suggestion. I've got a lot since the video release. Looks like a volume 2 episode is begging to be released. Should I proceed with it?
No Raider???
I'm done watching the video...
Can you make short video about Maxi scooter which can have same performance like cruiser
Nice requests, I will see what I can do.
Harley davidson super glide and softtail deluxe are my top picks
Appreciate your comment. How do you feel about Harley's higher pricing? Are the other pros of the bike good enough to outweigh the higher price tag?
@@automotiveterritory depends on where you go
@RJ Least of These Farm I believe it's more a cruiser
Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom should have made this video. List price of about $8,500.
Where is the Suzuki M109 r????
Nice review, thou
Check out this video ua-cam.com/video/Ss4KTea6vns/v-deo.html
Sir u make good video with best music
So nice of you. How did you like the bikes in this video?
How about the Harley Davidson Street 750 & the Honda Shadow Aero VT750?
Both are great cruisers, thanks for the suggestion. I might release the volume two of this episode and feature these models
Thinking about getting the iron 883 for my first bike. Thoughts?
The first cruiser bike or the first bike in general?
@@automotiveterritory first in general.
If your physical strength allows you to handle a machine like this and you spend a considerate amount of time practicing or probably working with an instructor, then it might work out for you. Still it would be nice to talk it over with your instructor. It's never a good idea to underestimate a machine. Especially for a first-time rider.
@@automotiveterritory yeah im skinny, 170cm tall, im just afraid i cant 'hold' the bike as it weights 250kg, if you know what i mean...
Yes, this is partially what I mean. I think that a riding instructor will be able to give you better on the spot advice, as he will get much more information about you than me.
My favorites are the Indian Springfield and Harley Road King. Big classic bikes, but without the fairings and crap of most tourers.
You've mentioned some pretty amazing bikes, but I will have to feature them in a separate episode. In this one I was aiming for the "under 20K" price category. Which one is your favorite from the presented lineup?
Probably the Indian Chief Dark Horse. Not my favorite Indian, but a very impressive bike.
great taste. Consider checking out videos about electric motorcycles on my channel. Those are not as impressive, but they are getting there. I will also feature big classics soon, so you are always welcome to visit! Cheers!
Thank you very informative
Glad you liked it! Always a pleasure seeing ladies on my channel! Feel free to join our community and check out other episodes!
Hello..
Do you thing Yamaha Bolt can make long trip like 1000 km as it is air cooling ?
It's nice to see Borat branch out into bike reviews.
What a fresh reference.
"Ducati" and "Quality materials" should never be put in the same sentence unless that sentence is "Ducati doesn't use quality materials in their bikes"
Appreciate your feedback. Have you have first hand negative experience with Ducatti motorcycles and inferior quality?
Maybe a Benelli 502C would be more to your liking 😶😂🤣😂
I have ridden many bikes in my life. I had a harley sportster, then a ninja 650 and a r6. Got a r3 for a bit then sold it and got my Ducati monster 696. I will tell you out of all them i never had a problem with my monster. I notice that people that complain about ducatis have never even owned one
I get the same feeling. Usually people who complain about something never come back to back up their statements
Eric Iglesias 1100 s owner. Love it
Great video by the way where can you buy these motorbikes
The links to manufacturer websites are in the description.
How about any of the hondas like the fury or the Inner state or the state line or the rune
Thanks for the suggestions. These are also amazing bikes, but I only had 10 spots in this video and had to sacrifice some great entries. I guess this video is begging for a volume 2
How’s the Harley Softail slim?
Motorcycles are not that difficult to work on, but rather fun.
yamaha stryker should definitely be on this list
Thanks for the suggestion. Which of the entries do you think it should replace?
I like the looks, how comfort i am when im on it, and the sound of the bikes but the prices are too expensive.
If you decide for going with the Street Bob, be aware that you may want to change the stock seat ;) (but honestly, most Street Bob owners would change the seat whether or not it is confortable enough)
Thanks for your advice. Do you ride the Street Bob yourself? Any suggestions on the seat replacement?
Thanks for your feedback and seat suggestions. Hope they will be of use to other viewers! Be safe and ride on! Best of luck to you!
We pay 10% GST (Goods and Service Tax) then an additional 3% of the cost price.
13% on top of the current exchange rate? have you guys considered dumping a bunch of tea into Sydney Harbor, or anything like that? ;-)
I finally watched a honest video with all the info needed about cruisers. Still can’t decide between a Yamaha Bolt or Kawasaki’s Vulcan.
what vulcan are you looking at.
I’m looking at the Vulcan S 650, The Ergo fit it’s a plus for me since I’m kinda tall
Appreciate your support! As for your choice between the two, you will have to test ride both and go with the more appealing bike to you personally, since both are great
How many of these bikes other than harley give you so many engine upgrade options?
Triumph Bonneville and Harley 883 iron ❤️❤️
Thanks for your reply. Do you ride one of these?
Check out the Indian Bobber ua-cam.com/video/O6iN0VaPXuU/v-deo.html
I am only going with premium, yes good point to listen to feedback. I will contact you once its launch.
very well done. I love the video. perfect for me. thank you
Glad you liked it. I tried to make it versatile including bikes for the widest public. Which one is your favorite?
Honda Stateline, Harley Nightrod, Suzuki Boukevard M109r BOSS. Check those out if I haven’t already
Thanks for your suggestions. There are so many great cruisers that we might as well feature the volume two of this video!
Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews YEA do a volume 2!! I like watching videos like this!!
I ride an MT09 2018, but my big wish and heart dream, is to drive a Cruiser! But with 2m its not that easy to find one
Upvoting for the Yamaha Bolt (C-spec though, not the regular or R-spec shown in the video)

Check out the newest models of 2020
To me, a cruiser has feet forward foot pegs to lower the seat and for looks.
Subscribed ur channel, keep Posting videos like this 😍😍
Will do! Thanks for subscribing!
What is it with cruisers listing torque but not power?
It's the most important parameter for a cruiser. They usually have rather humble hp yields
It saddens me that since the Ohio Marysville plant was shut down by HONDA USA, there are hardly any decent HONDAY motorcycles produced any longer. Where are new VTX, Valkyrie, Shadow ACE follow ups?!?
How about the Kawasaki Vulcan S 650? 😊😊😊
Thanks for the suggestion. The video begs for a volume 2
It’s #6 in the Video right ? I own one..
"Real Harley." You have a girl's bike. You have no room to judge others choices when you can't even get a real Harley cruiser bud.
Super Noob you're a child LOL
No need to insult others. Let's have a civil conversation with valid arguments and facts. Plus why won't you accept the idea that some people just have different tastes?
Glad you didn't resort to blunt insults in return. Let's keep this conversation civil. Maybe Super Noob will come back with more argumentative comments.
Yamaha bolt or vulcan s? Which do you prefer?
Both of them are nice options. But let the viewers decide. Let's see how many upvotes and replies your comment gets.
You need to test ride both.. I have the vulcan s & luv it.
hey how about harley breakout...
Vrod
Love how they’re saying these won’t burn a hole in your bank account yet the first bike costs $18,000. You can buy a car for that
It's the price for the new bike and one of the best equipped models. Of course those can't be given away for free but compared to some other options, 18k is not that bad (also there is an option of getting a used bike, of course).
Vulcan 900 classic!
Appreciate the suggestion! Indeed a great bike. Which is your favorite one from the lineup, though?
Indian Scout is such a beautiful bike in the Red color.
It is. Is it your favorite of them all?
@@automotiveterritory Yes but Diavel is also my favorite. So in this list, I prefer Indian Scout and Ducati Diavel.
My dream bike is yamaha vmax
Thanks for your comment. I wish your dream to come true, it is a cool bike
It was delivered yesterday I already put over 50 miles 😊
Awesome! Stay safe and ride on! If you get a chance come back and leave a comment about your further experience with the bike!
Get good roadside assistance if you get an Indian. Towed three times in the first eight months with my 2017 Indian Chieftan.
Sorry to hear that and thank you for giving the heads up to our viewers. Is there any particular reason for such frequent failures?
Failures were either manufacturer defects or recalls that disabled the bike while I was traveling - once while I was moving at 50 mph.
Thanks for sharing. Hope you came out unharmed from this 50 mph accident.
I think the best looking (by far) and great overall bike (not counting price) is the Indian Roadmaster!! my 2017 is my favorite bike!!
Good choice! How long have you had yours for?
@@automotiveterritory About a year, I traded my Goldwing in for it and I tell people the Goldwing is about "I'm Faster than you" the Indian is about " I look better than you" :) it's extremely comfortable if you can afford one I highly recommend it
Glad to hear that you've found a model that fits your needs perfectly.
Mr. Suzuki Boulevard see 50 and M 50 the magna 750 and also the Honda shadow phantom
AAHHH the Vulcan s abs better than all the rest ? with a pass on 883 it is a good one also
I am an Indian Scout rider and really don't believe I will every leave the brand. The Scout is my first bike and I don't believe that there anything on the market that is a better fit for me. I must admit, as a beginner rider though sometimes in certain situation the bike appear to be heavy for a beginner rider.
I love my Street Bob
Every time I see the Chief 😍
Indeed beautiful bikes. Any plans of owning one in the future?
What about the amazing M109r??
I reserved it for a different video.
If Honda came out with a
GL1000 retro 1975 replica
It would sell a million
Moto Guzzi V9 bobber! Magic wee bike
Nice video.. I think you have to consider Honda F6C. I don’t think harley is the best comfort cruiser
Hi there. Are you referring to the F6C Valkyrie or the Goldwing?
I mean the Valkyrie
Thanks for the suggestion. However, if I'm not mistaken, the Valkyrie was discontinued in 2003 and in this video I only listed all new models
@@automotiveterritory discontinued, but still a real contender!
It is, no arguing with that
Honda rebel 500cc its number one. Jijijiji
It is a great all rounder indeed. The looks match the great pricing, and the fact that even beginner riders can handle it is awesome. Do you ride one, btw?
That's my favorite too
The Rebel is a great little bike with a good price. Ideal if your not going too far
Nice choice for many for sure.
As far as the large bikes go why did you not mention the M109R?
Which of the bikes from this lineup would you like to replace with it?
@@automotiveterritory Well really they probably should have been split between large and small and that would go in the large half. I like them all and wouldn't replace any of them really.
Huh, I see. I could probably do that too. May be in a separate video.
Man, Indians are beautiful looking bikes. Wow.
They are indeed.
What about the legendary TRIUMPH THUNDERBIRD 🤔
Yes, it's legendary but can you still buy it new?
I'm not a fan of bikes with a poor tire foot print. I'd take the Yamaha Bolt and the Kawasaki Vulcan S off of this list. The thing that gets me is that new riders are buying these rides and then finding themselves in trouble on the road...
Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to list some affordable models, since in the past I was criticized for listing o ly the top dogs, which cost too much for the audience. Though, I understand what you are saying, some of these smaller bikes could indeed lack stability and turn out to be underpowered on the highway
Splender is no 1
Sorry but I'd rather push a Honda than ride a Harley
Thank you for stopping by. I do understand that the rivalry between HD and Honda bikers must be endless, but could you please share with the community and new riders, why you think Honda motorcycles are superior to HD. In advance, thank you for participating in the discussion!
Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews I've rode Harleys I've rode Moto Guzzi I rode BMW best one I've ever rode was a Honda most dependable you don't have to look under the bike to check the oil don't worry about points locking up don't worry about drive belt breaking see ya I'd rather push a Honda to ride a Harley
Now we are talking. Now people wont treat your comment as a "hater's spam" but rather as an honest opinion of an experienced rider who knows what he is talking about. Thank you for your response! Dont mind to stop by if HD fans stumble upon this thread to challenge your views.
I ride a motoguzzi, good bike. Never owned a honda, but they seem alright, kind of boring, but well made machines.
Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews since is public i will answered your question.
THE PRICE. taking Honda for a service will dent ur wallet as spiting on an armored tank and expecting it to get damage... take Harley for service and prepare to break your piggy bank twice.. desing and looks or power both have it in their own. Both great marvels of ingeniering. Hondas are bullet proof their line of shadows is amazing. Hop in the saddle and let ur imagination take you for a ride among the stars. mount a mighty harley and you will have the closest experience of flying that one can ever get in a iron horse. Both machines with sexy curves and engine roar that sounds like an angels concert to me. yes this two lovies are that good. you riders out there know what i mean.... why pay more for equal.?
I still love Scout!
Interesting choice. What makes it your favorite?
Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews I don't know, maybe cos it got Indian written on its tank ( I know it's American, right) or the fact that I loved this bike since 2015. Specifications apart (those are already great), this bike looks cool to me. A few bikes are better but then those are pricier as well, right?!
PS- I like Xdiavel as well.
thanks for sharing your views!
How come no one brought up the suzuki m109r boulevard ?
Actually it's been brought up in the comments.
What about The Honda VTX1800
Thanks for the suggestion. Another addition to my volume two video. Not enough spots on this original list
They quit making them ten years ago but it's still the best bike you can buy near perfect
Where is the Suzuki cruiser?? There are tow types Boulevard C50 and M109R
Where are the 2 seater bikes?
INDIAN SCOUT SIXTY...
Thanks for the suggestion, Juan
I looked into this bike back in the day while researching this video, but chose to stick to two Indian bikes only in the lineup. How did you like the rest of the list?
I'm an old Harley guy, but the Triumphs Bobber and and their new "bobber stly 2-up version (not shown here) have given me the bug. The Indian and Yamahas do nothing for me.
Thank you for your feedback! So many people, so many tastes! Glad you have found some of your favorites among the newcomers!
Agree that triumph Bobber looks sweet but wayyyy too pricey for what you get
