What I liked in the fight between Gilgamesh anf Iskandar is that it showed us that Gilgamesh is not the kind of character that looks down on everything. In fact, that guy actually have the personality that can accept what is worthy, based on his standards. He didn't belittle Iskandar even once in their fight, in fact if didn't promise to only have a single friend forever, it seems like he is actually willing to accept Iskandar as a friend.

Jethro Vitorio Scultor Enkidu in Babylonia was a corpse possesed by Kingu, Tiamat's son to fool Gilgamesh and allies. Gil already know that and did nothing
In the end, Kingu got betrayed and beaten to death. He said Enkidu's body and feelings prevented him to fight Gil no matter what. Gil was going to save his life since even Kingu possessed body of his friend, he didnt angry at all. Instead, he acknowledged him as Uruk citizen, which was under his responsibility. He also didnt want to see death of his friend twice. However, Kingu already made his choice. He sacrificed himself to bind Tiamat so Gil and others have enough time to finish their plan and dragged her into underworld

@@pinelopiliraki3660 An interesting idea. In Saikazo’s fanfic Fate/Starry Night, Ritsuka is rayshifted to Fuyuki during the Fifth War, and encounters Gilgamesh. He is fairly horrified by this side of the King of Heroes, and recounts how proud he was to fight beside King Gilgamesh in Babylonia. FSN Gilgamesh is at first enraged by his defiance, but he becomes intrigued and somewhat amused. He then offers Ritsuka a deal. If Ritsuka can solve the mystery of an anomaly disrupting the Holy Grail War before four Servants are defeated (less easy than you’d think because there are many this time) Gil will voluntarily abandon his current ambition and aid him. If he can’t, Gilgamesh will throw Ritsuka into the Grail Mud.
EDIT: Nothing more on that story because it hasn’t progressed far beyond that.

There's three ways Gligamesh ranks people. Friend, which is taken by Enkidu. Mongrel, which is his way of referring to a commoner/complete stranger that he does not care about in the least. And finally, there's the in-between, friendly acquaintances. Basically, people that are a step above mongrels and slightly more valuble than dirt, but will never measure up to the one and only Enkidu.
Basically, a friend in all but name. With Enkidu as his best/true friend. Just because you're not friends with him doesn't mean you don't still have value. Him simply acknowledging you is enough.

In the epic of gilgamesh, enkidu doesn't have a gender but in fate, he takes on shamhat's form. But in the epic, he never took on her appearance and was described as hairy chested and broad. He is also identified with male pronouns by gilgamesh and b/c he didn't reject them, I'm guessing enkidu does identify as a male or he just didn't care.
For those who said he is genderless, my closest guess is that he identifies as a male as i said from above. It was also said that enkidu and shamhat had sex for nearly a week nonstop. We know that shamhat is a woman and does not have a dick as far as i know, so the most logical thinking is that enkidu had a dick and that's how they had sex.
Only in fate was enkidu seen as androgynous and genderless. We also know that fate has a habbit of screwing around with gender. Like with artoria, nero, musashi, raiko, ibaraki doji, okita, nobunaga, and many more to appeal more for the audience.
It's fine if you want to believe enkidu is genderless and androgynous and want to keep using they and them for his pronouns. I'm not stopping you. Just remember that in the epic of gilgamesh, there is no connection to him being remotely feminine looking.

Ironically when the Einzbern's made sure that he was summoned as a Berserker for the extra power of Madness Enhancement they actually significantly decreased his effectiveness as a warrior by removing most of what made him truly great in his myths: shrewd cunning and tactical intelligence.

@@faizakhtar9335 Gilgamesh is still by and large the strongest Heroic Spirit. Sure there are Divine Spirits and Grand Servants who can match and surpass him but they generally aren't summonable as Servants outside of special circumstances. Speaking of circumstances, most Heroic Spirits get fame boosts to their parameters but Gil is one of those rare few whose abilities are entirely his own. His power as a Heroic Spirit is equivalent to his power when alive and he would remain so even if nobody knew his name which in Servant terms is crazy strong.
