Orko has always been my favorite character ever since I was a kid
He is a classic cartoon sidekick!
You tend to hear a lot of people saying "oh he was too childish and goofy for MOTU" and it always confuses me like "buddy have you *seen* MOTU?"

Fellow toy collector and UA-camr here and I have to agree Walmart is terrible at shipping. I haven’t been able to find any Orkos in the wild yet either. Fingers crossed he will hit the pegs soon🤞
That Orko looks great, finally got one.
I heard that Orko & Man E Faces have been spotted in stores in the US. Scareglow & Trap Jaw are going to be hard to find. I really want these before the end of the year.

at first I wasn't sure what to think of the flight stand. from inside the box I couldn't tell if it was going to be cheap and flimsy, but I like it....looks like a great addition. No ripcord like the vintage version but I like all the posing options and the bright cartoonish colors. I'm going to have to get this one! Thanks for sharing
Nice review, still watching! I had the same thing happen to me today. Ordered Man-At-Arms, quantity 3 yesterday online....Received it today, with all 3 smashed in a box too small! Packages ruined, but figures are great!

@@GeekDadLife Yes they had next day free shipping on there, with $35 or more, so I had to take advantage of that, and order 3. Also got Orko, but not arriving till Monday. I hope the packages aren't smashed on that one. ha ha

Wave 2 should already be at retail according to Pixel Dan & many others. I already have all of wave 1 except for the Prince Adam/Sky Sled which I can't find in any Wal Marts near me. My Wal Mart has all of wave 1 figures except for the mentioned above. I'm really getting mad & frustrated because I really want these figures.Don't want to wait to next year that defeats the purpose of it saying new for 20 not 21. I want to buy in retail to give me the feeling of nostalgia.
The Sky Sled is the one I haven’t seen and the current eBay prices are way to high.
yeah we all geek dad life.....i'm with you i am luving this line to the Nth degree especially neevr had it as a kid..get a 2nd chance....best thing Mattel has done.....
The flight stand is awesome, I just wish it as taller!

I know there's small chance it would be made, but I'd love it if they came out with Orko's girlfriend as a figure. Maybe it would be a good convention exclusive if they made a 2 pack of her and Orko's uncle.

My orko just arrived and mine has a massive error in the paint app on the left eye, the left eye is almost merging with the middle of his hood the eye has no gap between the middle, come on Mattel get it right
In Latin America the box is wrong the name is misspelled as oko

Great video and review. Love the figure but I don’t get why he’s got an orange hat.
The color varied on the show kind of a orange red to red the toy being orange as well, and with Origins they go all out with the colors so I think it stands out more, but I really like it.
Ugh! I made a huge mistake. I had the entire wave 2 on pre-order on bbts, but cancelled it because from some shots of Orko came across like a cheap McDonalds toy and I couldn't justify the coin, but now I kind of want him and all the wave 2 pre-order sets are sold out. On top of that I haven't seen any wave 2 in the multiple stores I've been to... really hoping I'm not going to have to pay scalper prices.
Oh no! I’ve seen wave 2 showing up more and more across the states, I hope you find it at retail prices!
@@GeekDadLife That's encouraging to hear. Are they showing up now? Or did you notice them months ago? Just hoping I didn't miss the boat. I have Trap Jaw on pre-order on EE, but shipping plus tax brings the figure to like $25! Ouch, I just hope I can find them at retail soon so I can cancel my pre-order.
Most stores don’t gaf about packaging with these sweet babies.I had been attracted by amazon’s $10 a figure for so many times just to get something that looked like it was the last of the mill toy in the bottom of the barrel
*EDIT* You’d think Target🎯would do a better job cause we have this vision of a fancier get-up but then,the stuff comes from yet another herd of fast packing screwballs,so yup!,my Mekaneck with road ripper box was also damned and dented

Best Orko representation? Super 7 Vintage, in my opinion.
Love how all of the Origins feel and pose, but what a weird color and shape hat. I think the body looks a little more like him on Super 7 also.
But the real question is can you take this Orko's limbs off and put him with the other figure parts like the others in the line. :D
I think there were so many different looks on the filmations cartoon, but this Orko is the first one that I’ve owned that actually captured the personality of the character, and I’ve owned them all. The brighter colors are different but that matches the brighter color palette that Origins has been using. But I totally get that it’s a personal preference!

Man, i'm from Mexico and no toy store or website has them, in fact they don't have anything, or...they make us think so...
That’s a bummer! I’ve seen some pictures of those crazy large displays in Mexico, but I I understand that isn’t everywhere

I'm so done hunting these just missing orko n scareglow. Hunted walmart for 2 weeks the one hour I wasnt there they sold out instantly. I'm paying scalper prices I'm fn done hunting these fn figures it's so frustrating . The amount of gas I spent traveling for these figs every single day I may as well cough up the double price
Yeah don’t stress to hard to find these, they’re a mass retail release and will be at all retail early next year!
just wait till jan of 2021 it will be release at all retailer, etailer then you can just pre-order them or go when you have the time.....no need to hunt....right now it's just showing up at walmart only but in 2021 it will be every where.....be patient.....i was patient and i was able to get the 1st wave; it will be the same for the 2nd wave...don't let it become not an enjoyment
Couple months ago there was no he-man at Walmart . Now every Walmart has tons of he-man skeletor . Walmart doesn’t even have place to keep it . I seen literally 20 he-man
you really shouldn’t complain about oh Europe gets it before the USA because nine times out of ten many parts of the USA gets so many toys before anywhere else. Hasbro are one of the worst companies for getting stuff to the UK an example would be that I saw a few weeks ago POTP Prime Masters wave 3 for the first time in a Toy Shop they were supposed to be out in 2018 over a year late and even then they’ve only shown up in one shop. It really annoys me when people from the USA complain about Europe with a once in a blue moon item that maybe shows up in Europe first because as I say 9/10 toys show up in the USA first.
I promise it wasn't a complaint, I know we have it good in the states, more sharing for contexts sake :-)

@@Ur2ez4me81 Yeah I wouldn’t mind but most believe that Europe has stuff first that’s what annoys me. But I’m sure you’ll tell me too that somehow it’s fair that US gets certain Switch games physically but not in Europe eg Mega Man 11, Crash 4 even though they are producing them in Japan. And if a company plans on releasing something worldwide it’s should be fair and pretty much at the same time LEGO manage to achieve a similar worldwide release. Or should I take the attitude we should have them first because they are a European thing. I still maintain if someone or a company is going to release something worldwide it should be roughly everywhere at the same time.
