I bought myself one of these last year as I’d always wanted one, and I love it! I’d be interested in trying to customise the dilithium chamber hatch to make those two sections semi transparent like in the show. Not quite sure how I’d do it though
This was a pretty good little playset. The only thing it's really missing is a taller warp core and a catwalk for the 2nd level so your modification is pretty cool.
@@JDtheBlackPhoenix Also, I believe the one sound effect is supposed to be a warp core breach, not red alert (as this was a Generations toy) and the thing with the tool is a play feature to "repair" the breach.
@@JDtheBlackPhoenix that's my plan too, extend it out enough for the pool table. I also want to bring the wall with the fold down panel moved over a little like the show shows. It's more of a little alcove than flush with the doorway like the toy did. And then on the other side of the electronic buttons I'm gonna add a wall with the isolinear chips. Also have an idea of adding at least a ladder for the impression of the second floor above. Will be neat to see how you do it. Already saw that you have a video coming out for turning it into sickbay too. Great ideas man. :{
@@JDtheBlackPhoenix One of the buttons plays the reactor meltdown if you let it play long enough. You pressed the alert button before it did it. That fold down screen was used in the show by Data once but it doesn't fold down it's like most terminals. I assume the second playset that you got the top of the chamber off of is the one that gets turned into Sickbay right? :{J
@@tetsuoswrath yeah I meant how the show never showed a fold up and down console. And yes that's where that warp chamber came from. I had forgotten about the meltdown thing, it was just taking so long lol

I'm working on an extension area for it that will Include the pool table area, but it will be awhile before I have that video ready.

Wasn't this supposed to connect directly to the bridge?
yes it had a little clip that could line it up with the turbolift doors, so you could walk from one right to the other.
