Thanks so much for this info. Best video I have seen for understanding how to use the Towa, when it comes in mail it has no instructions on how it works.
I hope it helps - it did me and I use it every bobbin change just to make sure I am in the right ball park Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching
I have the towa gage but when I pull on the thread to get a reading , the red needle keeps jumping up and down, I can’t get a good reading. Would you know off hand what I’m doing wrong?
I did notice that when you are using magna glide it has nothing in bobbin..do you use Bobbin jeanie at any time...thanks again for all the info you provide

Me too! I was worried mine was also broken!
Thanks for sharing. I've had the Towa gauge for awhile but haven't used as I wasn't sure how to use it.
Hope it helps!
Thanks for watching! Good luck with your Towa!

Yes, I do use Bobbin Jeanies most of the time
Where do you get your metal m bobbins from?
Does this work for plastic cases?
hi i just looked towa guage on amazon, the have many sizes, how do i know which one i need?
Sorry, I just saw your comment. You need to order the TOWA gauge according to the type of bobbin you have. Usually an "L" or a "M"
