    I’m a Deere retiree. About 10 years ago, a year or so before I retired, I travelled to Brazil. I did not get to the field but visited the tractor factory, a number of suppliers, and the Deere offices in Curitiba. A welcome experience. Thanks for sharing.

    It’s really mind-blowing to see the amount of activity down there in Brazil. As a lazy 1-crop-a-year US farmer, it’s hard to even comprehend. I hope they got you first class tickets for those long legs… 🤣

      @@JD-oh9vz they have to sell to someone and they sell to whoever wants to buy from them. Europe or the USA protect themselves and do not let their products enter these countries. These countries only allow products to enter that they make money from, for example crude oil and other crude products. The USA is a large producer of food in general, so Brazilian products such as food do not enter the USA, they are sure to sell to those who buy their food.

    how many percent are there in Brazilian territory of forests and how much is used for agriculture
    Copilot
    According to available data, around 59% of the Brazilian territory is covered by natural and planted forests123. This is equivalent to approximately 58.5% of the Brazilian territory, covering an area of 497,962,509 hectares23.
    In relation to agriculture, Brazil uses only 7.6% of its territory for crops, totaling 63,994,479 hectares4. Another data indicates that the area occupied by agriculture in Brazil grew by 50%, reaching 95.1 million hectares, equivalent to 10.6% of the national territory5. Furthermore, Brazil has a total available arable area estimated at 152.5 million hectares or 17.9% of the territory6.
    Please note that this information may vary over time and depends on a number of factors, including government policies and industry practices. 🌍

    About that driving thing, it's pretty much like that everywhere outside the "civilized world" I mean western culture 🙄 the laws they make up there are stupid-proof, they opressively limit people's capabilities. When people are free to choose what level of risk they're willing to take they become better drivers and it's more efficient for the system in general, for the economy. I speak for myself when I say I can drive crazy fast, like finnish fast, and still be secure for me and everyone around me

      Mundo civilizado? Está se referindo aos países nórdicos, certo?!
      Estive na América recentemente. Se tem uma coisa que aquele país não é é civilizado.
      Pessoas brigando, roubando lojas, muitos usuários de drogas nas ruas,
      O Brasil não é civilizado, nem a América!
      Talvez a Europa e alguns países asiáticos.

    What is sad is that they destroyed so much of the rain forest to make those fields. That's the reason they were called the rainforest.

    • @DiegoDelmondes.g
      @DiegoDelmondes.g Рік тому +13

      Wrong. Most of the fields are located on the Cerrado region, which is like a savanna. This farm is from that region.
      The Amazon environmental problem is mostly because of cattle

    • @muriloassis7984
      @muriloassis7984 8 місяців тому

      Wrong!!! Those farms are located at the bioma called "CERRADO", which is a big and plain savanah, a round 1.500 km far from rain forest (Amazony).
      Brazilian rain forest (+/- 5.000.000 square km) still remains 84% of its original forests intact, since the first portugueses put their feet there.
      Do not trust in everything the traditional and biased midia publishes, there is huge strategics/financial interests behind for spreading fake news against Brazilian agro-industry... specially coming from European Union and North american midia in order to protect their farmers/markets from competitors.

      Didn't the USA and the European Union do the same? Both are giant open-air parking lots. Competition always infuriates monopolistic states, which are offended by the prosperity of American countries, as is the case with Venezuelan oil and gas and wood, food, steel and other ores of Brazil. simply embarrassing
