  • Was kind of surprised. I've been doing a lot of plate curls along with these which probably has carryover to finger and wrist strength on this handle. I'd like to hit 100 soon on the right.

      Thanks man! My grip is finally starting to go up another level. Seems like I get stuck at points and the only thing to do is rest and let the bones and tendons strengthen more so the muscle can do its job more effectively

    Hi bro, amazing lift.. two questions .. which size is this eccentric handle? 70mm or 60mm? And what is your hand length from the tip of middle finger to wrist? .. thanks

      @OldManArmStrength  6 місяців тому +1

      I wasn't sure so I measured and it's 70mm. Hand is fairly average sized. I'll have to measure. I know my palm is way bigger than my fingers, which I've heard can be a good thing and make people uncomfortable if they're reaching for your thumb. Still with a smaller hand, I'd probably be trying to get the straps even with iron fingers and wrist

      @@OldManArmStrength thanks for the reply.. this handle is a bit tricky and the weight which you can lift changes depending on the angle of pulling and how much cupping you are starting with .. so if you twist your body and move the hand in a side pressure kind of way and u start with a cup is easier than if you just dragged it back with straight wrist ..

      @@adelali8912What are you implying? That I'm not pulling straight back? The handle is very large so you must start with a cupped wrist or the fingers will slide off and the handle will shoot our of the hand. Also there's a rim at the top that completely stops your fingers from going past the intended point of hand placement. I fail to see the point you're trying to make here. When the weight gets very heavy you will have to brace your body no matter what you're doing. Failure point is always fingers and wrist. Look up Chris Drummond. He explains this better. I don't understand why you're trying to discredit my lift. Can you show me how you do it?

      @@OldManArmStrength I apologize for the inconvenience caused, didn't mean to discredit your lift, i told you in the first comment that it was an amazing lift.. i'm just sharing with you my experience with the handle.

    What’re your thoughts on the Ezreal pulley system? Looking at that one right now

    • @OldManArmStrength
      @OldManArmStrength  6 місяців тому +1

      It's good for all the basic movements. The only problem I have is that I really need a better way to do side pressure

      @@OldManArmStrength awesome, thanks for the feedback. i had thought of modifying my table so that the pulley could also mount on the side, where the peg usually goes. would probably just require one more hole to be drilled, and moving the whole pulley whenever you want to do side pressure. seems like a lot of work though to be moving it all over

      @OldManArmStrength  6 місяців тому

      @@highlyalloyed9296I started doing it a similar way, but the pegs are stuck on there pretty well and it takes a few min to change. But from the front the pulley is great. I might save for a ground pulley that I can fit inside my rack for side pressure.
