41:45 As a flyer I'll regret leaving this here but inferno has one more secret technique when you activate the 3rd ability it doesn't just amp your dashes it super charges both the multi laser and the single laser increasing the damage to ridiculous amounts
I've been playing tricera a lot during the closed beta, and one thing i'd like to note is that tricera can actually parry melee attacks, and it's really easy. See the extra layer of shields on top of the regular shields that show up at 13:49 then disappear after a second or two? that's your parry window. So mechs like panther, welkin, and to some extent alysnes struggle if you know this little quirk. But beware welkin spin for it actually bypasses shields and CANNOT be parried, no matter what mech you're playing, you just have to out run it (Unless he puts you in the bully box, in which case, pray he doesn't put you in the forever box) Edit: I don't think he mentions that shields can parry outside of alysnes now that I'm watching more. Yeah, panther and tricera can also parry
Hurricane can also parry. Stego can't parry but if you time your mounted stance right you can kinda push them away and make them go through the sheild while you light them up.
i was hoping Luminae would feel more like a Mercy/Lucio type support, but the lack of feedback from abilities on top of long cooldowns and no real primary fire or extra movement tech to compensate, makes it really boring.
this game is actually rly good, high rank gameplay feels amazing with a team that knows what to do. high skill ceiling sick mechs badass gameplay and actually pretty balanced for a playtest there is pretty much counter play to everything almost like rock paper scissor
35:41 this isn't exactly correct. You "die" as Alysnes, and it will strip off the main armor to have a second "life". Hitting 3 will simply re-armor them to have a third "life". Also all the strikers with a basic melee weapon have the charge mechanic with a lock-on function😊
It was mostly good but having played quit a bit of hurricane i didn't know u could focus target. Also didn't see it in the video? The most important part what wasnt mentioned was the charge shot having what it hink is actually the largest partial dmg that ignores fluid shield. They do need to stand in the AoE for the full Damage but damn its really, really noticable when u hit the light strikers.
pinaka is way better then luminae in every way btw, her barrier ability also heals the target by A LOT its pretty broken, and her dmg is insane too just got to get gud at her and she is one of the best mechs in the game, her right click dmg ability is like a shotgun does insane dmg close range, you can legit fly into targets that are seperated from the team and just mag dump and murder them. and she is extremly tanky, your wall ability is also rly good to drop on stationary tanks or on melle units that engage you
Luminae feels terrible to play. The abilities are weak, slow, and lack the audio/visual feedback to feel like you're doing anything but existing to get assists. Having cooldowns that long while having no real primary fire or extra mobility is just bad design.
@@DrybearGamers jokes aside, you forgot to point out that Stego has a dash that's actually good for close quarters. It's especially good in close to mid range combat
teamplay is actually rly important you gonna see once you get higher rank (there is a ranked ladder in the playtest) if you charge in alone against a coordinated team youll die in seconds, healer should be on tanks panther/welkin should be flanking the enemy healers etc. falcon and skyraider should harrass there is a lot to coordinate and the skill ceiling is high in terms of team play
what do you find trash about it? its amazing cool mechs fluid gameplay good competetive pvp, high skill ceiling, and high skill ceiling in terms of team play and comps, if you like pvp games or hero shoters you should like this game

Besides gameplay stuff I absolutely hate when I turn on the game and first thing it does is forcing me into some dumb fucking mission with the most out of place and annoying narrator. Then you still can't play what you want because it forces you into a tutorial during which, there is no QUIT GAME BUTTON, like what the actual fuck is even that design. Also extremely poorly optimized, try Delta force on the other hand that playetst also came out, it looks few times better and runs way better too. Mecha break will never be good because they would just need to change every single thing about it.

The game plays rly well and there is a lot of skill involed once you understand what you are doing. It runs fine for me on an rtx 3080. Put in some time you'll see If not its fine play something Else im not here to convince you just sharing my expiereince after 35 hours of play

SkyRaiders primary attack can be held to charge a laser. Was not covered.
And that charged laser has a tiny bit of bleed-through damage. So if you have max shields but 10hp, sky raider can finish you in one shot.

I love grappling towards the ground with Narukami to reposition and have that long duration stealth.

Tricera has been a big counter for me as Alysnes. Very difficult for me to deal with
