I'm genuinely really happy and super excited for Dreamworld, seeing all of these really cool and neat changes. I really hope they start bringing in some more crowds; I can tell they are trying their best to improve and it's coming along really nicely. Go Dreamworld!! And thanks for this awesome update, Shane! Great to see Dreamworld bustling again! To think 8 months ago most of its rides were closed/under renovation. What a glow-up! Last time I went was when they still had all the Dreamworks marketing, so I'm very glad they've turned it back around and recovered it as quickly as they did. Dreamworld is still my personal favourite park, gotta visit it again sometime!
i remember the gold coaster when it first opened at dreamworld named ''the cyclone'' and thats why the queue is like that, The line would go all the way around out the bottom hahaha, would take hours to get to the top!!. it was purchased from luna park, And was originally called the big dipper . Also thats why its supports are kinda weirdly shaped/built . it used to stand where the new roller coaster they have there now also called "the big dipper". if you watch the video of the new dipper , you can see how the cyclone (gold coaster) used to fit in that tight little area.. extra little info for ya :)
I loveee dreamworld every time our passports expire we get new ones asap my favorite rollercoaster it probaly shockwave my least favorite is the planes first time i went on it i thought it would break down cus it goes slow while stopping i also loveeeeeee steal tipan it goes backward fist then goes shooting fast i live in surface qland and it ain't really a long drive i have not been there lateley cus of crowds and weather but love your work keep it up bro😊 ☆┌─┐ ─┐☆ │▒│ /▒/ │▒│/▒/ │▒ /▒/─┬─┐◯ │▒│▒|▒│▒│ ┌┴─┴─┐-┘─┘ │▒┌──┘▒▒▒│◯ └┐▒▒▒▒▒▒┌┘ ◯└┐▒▒▒▒┌
Ride wait times for those rides is shocking. Nothing should be above 15-20 mins for the amount of people seen in your videos. The load and dispatch times are terrible. Id also add that appears to be a very very slow xmas school holiday crowds compared from years ago. That Giant drop queue would get to 2 hrs. The rollercoaster would have the whole circle ramp filled to the bottom.

Glad they recovered quickly after the wild storms. Hope there wasn’t too much damage beyond that poor tree in the tiger enclosure.
Hi mate - they did a great job of the clean-up although Vintage cars sustained alot of damage - it should reopen mid week.
