AWESOME! Welcome to my channel and thank you for the support! I'm a tradesman with decades of experience trying to give honest reviews a little differently than the guys who open up new tools in their garage and the tools never see a job site. I'm always open to suggestions and ideas for videos, always let me know if there is something you're looking for a review of and i'll do my best!
Twigs? None. They're grass shears, grass clippers. It binds up pretty quick when I get mulch caught up in there, never had a twig caught in there but I'd imagine it wouldn't take much to stop it. That being said, it would def do some damage to a finger caught in there, so.....the smallest of twigs 1/8" or less would probably not affect it, but not much more.
Ok, sold... needed to be able to cut tall grass around bee hives, even when everything is wet! This is the answer. Glad I happened upon your channel. The string trimmer just slaps grass onto everything and makes the bees angsty! :)
AWESOME! It'll handle your needs for sure, works great doing exactly that. Let me know what you think about it once you get some trigger time with yours! I'm also glad to answer any other questions you may have about it.
This is for getting in flower beds carefully for the hard to get spots. Not like a mad man with a string trimmer. My beds are all mulched, using a trimmer chucks mulch all over the lawn or it's too tight for the trimmer to begin with.
I have this tool and I like it but don’t love it. Cutting tall grass and weeds isn’t anywhere near as easy as shown in this video. Also, twigs and small pebbles are forever getting stuck in the blades. It’s not junk, but it’s not that special either. Overpriced, too, like all Makita products.
If it's not that easy, how am I doing it without issue? You can't force it thru the thick stuff, be patient, let the tool do the work. I do agree with things getting stuck, if you remove the tray meant to stop that, it'll happen when cutting too close to the ground, or trying to cut things that aren't meant to be cut, like twigs. I get mulch stuck in the blades trimming flower beds and it's def sketchy removing it with fingers alone, I usually grab some pliers when it happens. Everyone has their own opinion and I appreciate you sharing yours.
Are you saying that you don't like the tool, or just the design/make? What portable electric grass trimmer is better than the Mantika. Especially, for, as you say "the price?"
I am a new subscriber to you I'm 66 years old and this girl needed to have an honest review and I'm getting these grass shears thank you so much.

Hi ProTools what thickness twigs will the hedge clippers cope with ?

Dude I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never heard of this tool. I’d definitely use it

Lol you know what i'm sayin'
🛠️🛠️🥳🥳 Does it work on the beard? 🤣🤣
When I decide to do a video like @joethetoolguy does I'll test it and find out.
Bro, I use this over my manscaped lawn mower.
That's a little dangerous for me! Lol!
👌👌👌👌
So the grass trimmer does the job of a strimmer only slower and you have to be on your knees.

@@ProToolsApproved So nothing like you were using it for in the video.
Was just demonstrating it's cutting ability. I'm new at this whole you tube thing, so bear with me as I learn to make better content.

Will take you 15 years to cut all your grass with that 😅
Well it's just for trimming around flower beds and spots the mower won't fit. Lol
